Event Horizon Testament

“Event Horizon” captures the raw spirit of the Seattle grunge movement, reinvented with alternative rock energy and the swirling atmospheres of modern psychedelic rock. From its haunting, reverb-drenched guitar intro to its explosive, distortion-heavy choruses, the song channels the grit and emotional depth that defined an era.

Lyrically, “Event Horizon” uses the cosmic metaphor of escaping a black hole to explore personal transformation and the struggle to break free from internal gravity. The vocal performance shifts from subdued, almost whispered verses to powerful, anthemic choruses, echoing the range and emotion of grunge icons. Lyrics like “supernova heart” and “breaking the event horizon” resonate as both personal confession and universal rallying cry.

After making waves as a remixer, Max Blade returns to One Of A Kind with his first full original release on the label – the powerful two-track EP Rules Of Thoughts. Hailing from Santa Fe, Argentina, Max Blade (aka Maximiliano Nazara) has already built a reputation for forward-thinking sound design, earning support from legends like Nick Warren, Hernán Cattaneo, and John Digweed. With Rules Of Thoughts, he delivers an immersive progressive house experience that reaffirms his status as one of the scene’s most promising names.

The title track, “Rules Of Thoughts”, is a hypnotic journey built on evolving textures, lush pads, and a driving low-end that balances dancefloor energy with deep introspection. It’s progressive house at its finest – intelligent, melodic, and expansive. Taking the reins on remix duty is André Moret, the Brazilian maestro whose cosmic touch has been celebrated on labels like The Soundgarden, Plattenbank, and Clubsonica. Their remix highlights subtle organic touches and flowing harmonies, adding warmth and dimension while retaining the intensity of the original.

Together, these four cuts form a release that feels timeless yet fresh – a true progressive house gem. Rules Of Thoughts not only showcases Max Blade’s growth as a producer but also brings together three highly respected artists who elevate the project with their distinctive remix signatures.

Max Blade - Event Horizon (Plecta & Jelly For The Babies Remix)

Please explore this soundscape "Beyond the Event Horizon."  This composition expresses a journey through the depths of space and time - featuring a slow, evolving atmosphere that builds attention and anticipation, inviting listeners to explore the unknown - what lies beyond, both musically and conceptually.  Using my MIDI keyboard and high C whistle, I improvised over a C chord made of entirely C notes.  I crafted the song with a blend of synthesizer sounds inspired by "Event Horizon" and Chords of Trance."  The MIDI and whistle were routed through Logic Pro and the sounds were enhanced with Valhalla DSP effects. 

The title"Beyond the Event Horizon" refers to the boundary surrounding a black hole.  A black hole is a region in space where gravity is so strong that nothing can escape from it, not even light.  This mysterious phenomenon challenges our understanding of the universe and time.

Beyond the Event Horizon

Element: The edge of the system. The point of no return.
A detonation track—the most aggressive on the release.
The intro is short and direct—a few seconds of tension before the explosion.
Then comes a relentless assault of neuro basses, aggressive snares, and syncopated drums that tear the track apart.
The bass sounds like a hybrid of machine and living organism awakening amid industrial noise.
In the finale—a sharp grind on the verge of distortion and absolute silence after the chaos.
Vibe: the end of an era, absolute energy, a controlled explosion.

Heart Blossom Sanctuary: learning/experimenting making electronic music using LogicPro, flutes/whistles, an electric dulcimer, MIDI keyboard controller...

NEURO GOPAQUE is a Ukrainian music project that combines ethno-folk with electronic genres such as Neurofunk, Drum & Bass, Breakbeat, Jungle, JumpUP, Dub, and Dubstep. The project was founded in 2025 by sound producers and artists SunFixer and LeonID. The mission is to create innovative hybrid tracks that integrate traditional Ukrainian motifs with modern electronic rhythms, in order to popularize Ukrainian cultural heritage on the global electronic scene. The headquarters is located in Kyiv.

The project offers original tracks and remixes of Ukrainian folk songs in electronic styles. Key offerings include compositions such as "In the labyrinths of code I will find freedom", "Hey, brothers, keep in line!", "You came like a wind in the night | Rmx", "Unbreakable Motherland" (in several mixes: BKB, JumpUP, Main Mix), "Threat Vector UA", "Threat Vector", and "Growler". These tracks are available on platforms like SoundCloud and are aimed at an audience of electronic music fans with ethno elements. Markets served: Ukraine and the global electronic music community, with a focus on streaming services.

Key executives and founders: SunFixer (sound producer, artist, and songwriter) and LeonID (sound producer and artist). They jointly manage the creative direction of the project, focusing on production and collaborations.
