While playing around with some sounds in Vital (a fun synth plugin) and trying some delays and reverbs I came up with a simple ‘melody’ (if you can call it that). It reminded me of some ‘music’ I have heard in a video about mushrooms. In this video they showed different kinds of mushrooms that were connected to a device with moveable arms that held drumsticks. The drumstick hit some midi-keyboard that was connected to a laptop. The mushrooms seemed to be ‘playing’ music. Anyhow, that’s how I came up with the title. I unleashed the mushroom in me. As always I have used Spitfire Audio. This time it was GAIKA’s ‘War Island’. I have put some delays and reverbs on that one as well and I thought I could end the song with this sound. It has a nondescript unstable tape sound which I like. Almost like Boards of Canada. To get that sound I have used Cymatics Origin and Valhalla SuperMassive (of course).

As Ämpers@nd I am producing (largely but not always intentionally) melancholic and dark-sounding ambient and soundscapes. Occasionally I produce chill and relaxing (almost meditative) songs and (experimental) electronic music.

Making music has been my hobby for quite some time now. I love creating deep and dark soundscapes but I often just go along with whatever fits my mood.

I mostly upload plain recordings of jams on my analog synths here. Every track is basically just the raw recording of a live jam. A few of them are arranged and properly produced though. None have been mastered so don't judge :P 

I dont DJ and im not good enough to perform live. But who knows... that might change in the future. Feel free to listen to my somewhat unconventional sound collages.

Techno, Ambient, Synthwave. Inspired by early 90s (Acid, (Hard, Progressive) Trance, Electro, Hardcore), Ambient / Space / Chillout, crossed over and combined with bizarre new elements.
The main ingredients are electronic, futuristic, bizarre, synthetic sounding elements. Mostly combined with some more or less hard techno beats in the range of 140 - 150 bpm.

Hi there!  My name is Siobhán (pronounced Shiv-ON), I'm 28 from Dublin, Ireland.  I enjoy music of all kinds.  I am a singer and lyricist with an Alt/Metal band and my solo work is mainly electronic.  Ambient, Melodic House, Indie House and Progressive House.
