The album "Feldspar Valley" was born from the harshness of a hostile and meaningless Universe, but also from an absurd will to continue living. It includes 9 tracks plus a bonus track titled "Dream Weaver". The album embraces avant-garde soundscapes but also common blocks of sounds. Sometimes it smells like a dark forest in the middle of the night and other times like a joyful sunny day where anomalies and good monsters are possible. It's full of contrasts and experimentation echoing both earthbound rawness and the surreal spirals of dreams while holding in its hands new potentiating packs of sensations alienated from a human world sunk in hyper-commercialism, uncritical ideologies, fear and complacency towards the violent and hypocritical fabric of the so-called "normal state of things". Ambient music, chiptune, retrowave, synth pop, darkwave, electro and other genres and styles interweave and contaminate each other in one restless and mutant place. The whole album is a strange liminal space leading to other uncertain and unknown places yet to be discovered, an “in-between” and playful world of its own produced by diy/lofi aesthetic machinery.

Julius Granell , born in july. It has been 13 years that he lives on the Island of El Hierro, Canary Islands.origen Barcelona
There, his life and music is inspired by nature, people and animals of this region. In his home studio he works on sounds , develops and records them.
His musical evolution is based on strings and their fascinating behaviour.
After having played in several bands in Barcelona, he nowadays creates his sounds, primarily ambient, in solitary.

Free from fixed genres and styles, Ofb1t continues to expand his multifaceted body of work, challenging the commercial and homogenizing standards of mainstream art and entertainment. His creations often reflect a deep, critical engagement with social, psychological and philosophical issues.

Rooted in a lo-fi/DIY ethos, he draws from the Avant-Gardes (Dada, Surrealism, etc.), conceptual art, glitch and goth art, dark fantasy, anime noir, mixed media, AI hallucinations, posthumanism, and poststructuralism. His sound mutates through darkwave, gothic rock, post-punk, noise, cinematic dark ambient, techno-electro, industrial, dark indie-pop, glitch, hardcore, and beyond.
