Mmm, I’m so… tired…


Verse 1:
I can’t tell the days apart, they blur into gray,
The weight of just existing pulls me further away.
Every thought feels heavier, every breath a chore,
I’ve been knocking at the same locked door.

Pre-Chorus:
What if stopping’s not giving in?
What if I just dissolve within?

Chorus:
I just want to stop, to burst like a bubble,
Disappear, leave behind this trouble.
What if I fade, would anyone see?
Would the world even notice losing me?

Verse 2:
Every smile feels borrowed, every laugh a lie,
I paint myself in colors just to watch them dry.
What’s the point of trying when the world’s so loud?
I’d rather melt into the quiet than stand out in the crowd.

Naoise hails from the south-west coast of Ireland, a location steeped in Irish music and surrounded by a rich natural landscape. Fuaimdhreach is the Irish for soundscapes and Naoise explores the soundscapes that are hidden within the land and sea. Utilizing custom made instruments, field recordings and computer synthesis programs he produces and emulates the sounds he hears from the geography of the land of where he grew up in. His performances are immersive, sensorial and expansive and no two performances are the same. All the instruments and computer sound patches are designed to be completely improvisational and live; creating its own sonic eco system of when it’s performed. It’s experimental in its truest and raw form of real-time sonic art creation.
