DARKSUN – Project Presentation

DARKSUN is the solo Psycore project of Antreas Matheou, a musician, DJ, producer, and audio mastering engineer from Cyprus.

His passion for music began early in life. At the age of 7, he started studying violin, music theory, and harmony at a music school. Over the years, he expanded his skills by learning multiple instruments including electric guitar (with a heavy metal background), drums, clarinet, and more.

In October 2022, Antreas began producing his own music and gave birth to two solo projects:

DARKSUN (Psycore)

IUXTA (Dark Industrial Techno)


He is also involved in several collaborative projects such as KERVEROS, OOZARU, and OBSCURI REGUM.

Driven by the need to shape his sound from the ground up and preserve the unique identity of DARKSUN, he handles all of his own mixing and mastering.

The music of DARKSUN is a deep, spiritual, and high-intensity sonic journey. It’s designed not just for listening—but for ritual immersion.

Combining dark, haunting atmospheres with fat basslines, tortured strings, sinister FX, shamanic elements, and ceremonial choirs, DARKSUN invites the audience into a trance state—a cathartic inner ritual through sound.
