Despite the second name, this was created by a human—an attempt to capture the current surreal and at times distant emotional experience of being a musician in a world increasingly filled with creatively competent artificial intelligence.

Performed on electric guitar, shaped entirely through analog effects pedals and a volume pedal, without MIDI or sequencers. The piece uses a non-traditional metronome: a repeating pulse of static. I then cut parts of the audio to create a grid of a static beat.

There are no strong transient peaks—just evolving textures that blur the line between rhythm and tone.

The composition unfolds in three slow-moving phases:

A beginning grounded by static pulse

A middle section that subtly lifts in texture and pace

An ending that dissolves into layered, minimal ambience.

 Also considered were projects like Harmony Cloak, Poisonify - others like those discussed in Benn Jordans, "The Art of Poison Pilling Music Files" found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMYm2d9bmEA. This manifests in the use a non traditional metronome of static noise. 

No strong transient peaks to distinguish a pulse from texture. A slow-moving composition in three phases. Begins with a static pulse, evolving into deeper textures and eventually dissolving into layered, minimal ambience. 

The full piece tempo feels like it moves from ~72 to ~82 BPM, as the beat is there and yet not there. 

Slow-burning ambient track built around evolving textures, layered static, and minimal drone elements. This experimental composition blends ambient electronic sounds with a steady pulse in the opening, gradually transitioning into atmospheric soundscapes and immersive sonic environments.

Perfect for deep focus, meditation, late-night listening, or cinematic background sound. Influenced by ambient, drone, lo-fi, and post-electronic aesthetics.

Marking his debut on Sufrimiento Records, Del Olmo steps into a different sonic territory with four ambient and experimental compositions. Montreal-based progressive melodic house duo EDEN/SKIES releases their debut single "Echoes".

DJ / Entertainer / Failed Science Experiment

For over three decades, Spyke has pursued his love of, passion for and dedication to music. A truly eclectic artist, his palette knows no bounds!! The one thing we do know is that if he can’t keep you dancing, no one can! Don't believe us, check him out for yourself!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

At the tender age of 13, while working as a lighting operator in a local underage nightclub, Spyke got his first taste of DJing. From there he was hooked. With a background in live music performance, he took to mixing very naturally.
Cutting his teeth in the local clubs of his hometown of Ballarat, he very quickly became recognisable as one of the local resident DJs and was playing weekly residencies at Ballarat's most popular clubs through the 90's.

At age 19, he moved to Melbourne and started to build a name for himself in many different scenes.

Since that time he has DJ'd in nightclubs, warehouse parties, stadiums, music festivals, house parties, raves, lounge-rooms and even your local pub.
He has mixed his magic for goths & gays, rockers & ravers, 8 year olds, 80 year olds, and everything in between.

He has woven musical journeys through house, breakbeat, hard trance, commercial, club, electro, industrial, metal and party tracks. But he will always give any style a shot, if it means taking a crowd on a journey with him.
One thing is certain though, whatever style he's playing, you will always hear Spyke's unique live remixes, mash-ups & quirky additions to his sets.

These days, he spends his time playing commercial club, tech/house, big room, or industrial & dark-electro music to dance floors all around Melbourne with the passion he began with all those years ago.
Now in to his 32nd year of djing, it certainly doesn't look like his love for music and mixing is going to be fading out any time soon!
