Hiya romellody here with something a little different.

I've been busy with a special project that I have been working on for the past few years, which I am so excited to share.

I won't spoil any details yet but from the tags, let's just say I'm working on a =M A S H U P= Album.

"I hold you still cause your all I need" is a fun little mashup I've made during the assembly phase of this project. it may not make sense in the context but all will make sense in time.

We are back with the next single for this upcoming =M A S H U P= album which I'll talk a little bit more about.

So this project is my own take on Slushii's album E.L.E (Extinction Level Event) Despite its mixed response I have a big guilty pleasure with this project, after all, it's the reason I'm doing this whole thing.

I have a lot of mashups planned, I'm talking about a bigger tracklist compared to the original, this is so I can really have fun with the overall concept.

"Turn the TONAL RIDDIM Up" is a great example of this approach this project isn't to be taken seriously like the original album, but I had a blast just headbanging this this while making it, and I hope you also enjoy it.

Hiya, romellody here in the brand new year, hope everyone had a nice break through Christmas and new years, all ready to push through this year like any other.

I'm continuing the hype train to the extinction event with not one but two new mashups for you all to hear.

"Drownhalla" is possibly one of my new favorite mashup I've made, combining a new faviorite track from slushii's "valhalla" with excision's solid meldub "Drowning".

The very idea of this mashup came from a youtube comment on slushii's upload of valhalla, by the name of saminizer2.0 (If your reading this sam, wish i can let you know about the existence of this mashup, but if you do i hope this makes your day.)

This is a track that has that cry and headbang vibe, so i hope you enjoy this track.

hiya romellody here, and it's nearly time for the mashup album to drop, we're just a month away before release but I have a few more singles to share.

"WAITING for After Midnight" sets the stage for the halfway mark for the album.

One thing that's fun is being able to make many of these mashups, which allows me to visualize how a possible collab with different artists would turn out.

The way Ace Aura's crystalized sound design meshes with Slushii's melodic production makes me wanna have a collaboration between the two. [mayby some day... [=>~<=]

=SOBERED PROMESES= is possibly one of my favorite mashups I've ever done.

The way both these tracks combine was honestly a miracle, I randomly stumble across "Promises" while checking out LOUISEJAYXX's EP on Subsidia, not only was it the standout track for me but the moment I heard it, I knew I needed to make a mashup of it.

Mixing it with "Sober" was relatively simple but the end result truly warms my heart.

I hope you all enjoy this mashup & are excited to finally listen to this mashup album I've been working on for three years.

"I Tried It" is possibly one of my recent favorite Sushii tracks in a good while. so making this mashup was kind of a no-brainer.

So combined with yet another deep cut, "to say goodbye" has been both nostalgic and heartwarming.

This has been a really fun mashup to make and overall it represents the end of the journey, that even through the pain & challenges of this world, there's still hope.

So this one holds quite a special place in me.

For this mashup i wanted to have a more chiler atmosphere to represent the end of the world and "if these last (few moments)" fits that beat. So paring it with Slushii's "Sapient Dream" creates a nice chill anthem.

"sapientdream." has been a nice artist for to relax & relate too during my tough times, so i wanted to put a few sapientdream mashups on this album.

"IT'S FINALLY HERE AT LAST!"

I've waited for this day for a long time. Turn It Up (VIP) is finally out after two years since its debut on Slushii's set at Ultra Miami in 2021.

to celebrate (in possibly record time) I've created a mashup with Ray Volpe's HAPPY SONG. to create a colorful destructive dubstep anthem.

as soon as this track was made available, I kickstarted work on the mashup, giving my all to make this the best it can be.

Overall I am so happy with how this track turned out, it became one of my absolute favorite mashups I've made.

So this is a last-minute mashup I've made to make the tracklist even...

So I wanted to make a mashup of Slushii's Dear Me for quite some time but I never had a track that captured that vibe & structure.

However, that changed when I was listening to Ray Volpe's "Programmed to Love" & from there, the mashup came to mind.

This would be the last mashup I would make for this project before moving on to the next one I'm currently working on.

I want to say that it's been an absolute journey making & listening to this entire mashup album, to take this album in a new direction & to share this experience has been an amazing experience.

so i'm going to be going dark for a while.

due to a change in financial situation & with me being busy with other things such as drawing, i'm putting my Soundcloud subscription down, which means many of the Mixes will disappear due the the upload limit. 

however I do plan to put up a Google drive link at some point, which should have many of the mixes & mashups up for you all to enjoy at your own pace. (i also have some mashup's i haven't got a chance to upload due to the copyright system, though after a while, i'll take down the link(

Whenever if you've just discovered me, or have been listening to these little mixes for a while, I just want to say thank you for your support.
