Andy Cato and Tom Findlay aka Groove Armada are the next to mix Fabriclive 87, due for release on 20th May.

Groove Armada, are rooted in dance music’s seminal movements, with Andy Cato taking in Castlemorton and the free party scene, and Tom Findlay regularly attending the Hacienda during his formative university days in Manchester.  FABRICLIVE 87 represents the kind of house music – and importantly party music – that Groove Armada might drop in a typical Room 1 set, on a night where the vibes of the dancefloor align perfectly with the music of the DJ.

Groove Armada says “It’s in Room 3 that we effectively wrote Superstylin’, or at least the idea for that track took serious shape. They were magical times, really. It’s been amazing returning to the club, a sense of coming home. A lot of the people involved when we first played there are still involved, so it felt easy to come back, it’s an overused description but fabric is family.”

We have an Exclusive Mini-Mix, recorded live in Barcelona in 2013, from them today to celebrate the release. "It was in Barca, the night of their annual 'fire party' where its anything goes on the beach followed a night session in the old port area. I was a working DJ/producer 1996-2001 (UK). Lover of electronic music since 1990. I use this site to share some of my old mix tapes and the best mixes from other DJs that I've accumulated over the years. This is purely for entertainment, sharing and promoting good music, not to make money. For me it's always been about the MUSIC not the business.

I did produce some tracks back in 1998-2000 but only released a couple of EPs with DJ Relay under the names Low Profile & Two-Step2. We are getting back into production again as of 2020 and will be re-releasing some of our old tracks over the next year (2020-2021). You can find some of our unreleased tracks in my 'Simply Complex' playlist with new tracks coming soon.

Hybrid are Mike & Charlotte Truman who have gained international acclaim for their combination contemporary electronic music with enveloping orchestral scores and soundscapes. Hybrid's first artist album ‘Wide Angle’ in 1999 was considered to be ground breaking in fusing modern production with performances from the Russian Federal Orchestra. They have written a further three artist albums, toured around many of the world’s most iconic music venues and festivals and have remixed artists as diverse as New Order, Radiohead, UNKLE, Alanis Morrisette, Jean Michelle Jarre, Moby, Future Sound Of London and The Orb.

A natural progression from their orchestral heavy albums inevitably led them into film scoring and they have recently composed the soundtrack for Jim Gillespie’s forthcoming thriller Take Down, Sony’s PS4 worldwide #1 Driveclub, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier and the Bruce Willis sci-fi thriller, Vice. Hybrid have worked extensively throughout the film music industry on many titles including Hercules, The Equalizer, Total Recall and The Fast & Furious franchise.

Their heavyweight combination of soaring orchestration and cutting edge production has kept them in demand amongst a growing number of film makers which will shortly include a complete music preparation and score for John Stephenson's Interlude In Prague. Hybrid have recently completed their highly anticipated 5th studio album, Light Of The Fearless. Due for release on the 27th of July 2018.

Those who are already familiar with the sounds of Dossa & Locuzzed know there is more to Drum & Bass than just drums and bass. Pioneering a funk-infused niche of the genre, the Austrian duo have become instantly recognizable for their infectious throwback flare, vibrant synths, and inimitable groove that has become a unique trademark for the talented producers. 

When the two Austrians first teamed up to write their debut single “Friday”in 2016 they were quickly recognised by the biggest names in the scene and they haven’t shown any signs of slowing down since.
As the duo's career progressed, so did their musical mission of bringing musicality to the modern dancefloor. Dossa & Locuzzed are now known throughout the scene as some of the most eclectically influenced producers on the circuit. From one of the decades most played tracks “Shag” over their album “Resonate” to the heavier tech-sounds of “Dusk” and “Prism” these boys have all proven their incredible versatility and talent, constantly pushing boundaries of the genre.

To compliment their high-quality music production Dossa & Locuzzed have carved out a reputation for exceptional DJ skills, playing sets that go across all of drum and bass' diverse subgenres. Spiced with their infamous custom-edits they take the listeners through a unique experience with every performance.

Karen Menad, born in Paris , began her career as a model and photo model .  She took part in a collaboration with King , home of the after party “WHERE”, the most fashion- able in Milan, which allowed her to quickly be- come a resident of the party.
 Her career grew ex- ponentially and in a short time a great proposal came in a cooperation with a distinguished venues of Milan " AMNESIA "(milan) , where she became resident and got the support and countless praise from the excellent custom-e of this club. 
Karen is already lucky enough to play with established and successful djs like DENNIS HORVAT , ADAM PORT , MATHAME (AFTERLIFE) , AGENTS OF TIME (Afterlife ). SOLOMUN , DJ TENNIS , MARCO FARAONE  , ANNA , Anfisa letyago , Maceo Plex , Serge Devant , Davide Squillace , Claptone  
Her music genre is mainly set on melodic techno and techno but often range to some afro house and tribal music
