JEALOUSY wrestles with internalized envy and external pressure, giving voice to the silent conflict between self-belief and self-doubt.
It captures a powerful psychological dialogue: the core truth of feeling confident and unstoppable clashing with the creeping voice of insecurity, shaped by societal comparison and the distorted lens of social media. Rather than silencing the shadow, the song suggests learning to speak to it—understanding its voice without letting it define you.

Musically, the track is grounded in gritty bass lines, warped synths, and punchy drums, with Leona’s signature mix of rap cadence and rich, soulful vocal delivery. Think Little Simz’s intensity, Anderson.Paak’s polish, and Tierra Whack’s lyrical sharpness, filtered through Berlin’s unmistakable voice and perspective.
JEALOUSY is a gritty, genre-bending anthem that’s as emotionally raw as it is rhythmically addictive. This is Leona Berlin stepping even deeper into her power—and taking no shortcuts on the way.

Starting right away with a blasting metalcore riff and blasting drums, introducing the agony of years in a soundscape. Guitar tone heavily influenced by the Swedish Melo Death scene with abrasive HM2 references leading into chugs territory with brutal heart felt vocals exchanged with crystal cleans only to convey the volatility of emotions during this journey of both feels and head banging gymnastics.
