At long last, over a year after development started Battle Tower Royale now has its title screen music! I could not be happier with what I have written - this song is legitimately the exciting, upbeat epic I wanted it to be. It is easily the most complex piece of music I have ever composed, containing over a dozen key and mode changes! 

The very core of this song is the section beginning at approximately 2:31 - I wrote that section all the way back in 2014! But while that music sat in my folder for the next decade, it was never forgotten. When I was thinking about what I wanted my game's theme song to sound like, that Irish jig was exactly what I had in mind. I began composing the intro using that progression but in a different key and mode. 

If there is song that I could point to that describes me as a songwriter, this is it. I sincerely hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I do!

I managed to write this in half a day, which is practically a record for me. This song was intended to be reminiscent of The Steamworks Foundry, which includes quoting a bit of its theme in here. But this song is faster paced and really keeps the groove going as you fight your way through hordes of enemies!
