The first glimpse into my next EP. This lead single “Gangster Groove” spawned from the heavier wave of dark side garage and bass music. Delivering heavy and deliberately jarring energy to the listener, the tune is made for peak time dance floors and big subwoofers.

a reflective, ponderous instrumental complete with foghorn [supplied by richwise]... the first time I heard a foghorn was when I was working on a remote housing estate by the shoreline near Sandwich, Kent in the UK...I was struck by the way the acoustics gave it an entirely ethereal, other-worldly quality.

The Foghorn Dance EP is fast-rising American talent Neumonic’s spin on blending the sounds of UK garage with heavier bass music styles and taking sound design influences from Dubstep and Drum & Bass. Inspired by UK culture, Neumonic has been slowly but methodically building a base for the sound in California through his collective “Garage Access.” Releasing on highly acclaimed UK labels such as Morii Records and Bad Medic, he’s been dipping his toes across the pond and making his imprint in the USA, UK, and beyond.

This track is inspired by the lieks of Blame!, Dredd, SCP-1678, SCP-7005 and Silksong's underworks. 
Most of the sounds are synthesized, such as the weather, water flow and the foghorns. 

Artwork is rendered in Blender and post-processed in photoshop.
