Hard Times Events DJ Comp Mix (HARDTRANCE)

Well here is Part II of Tales From A Farm In Cornwall! The first mix was very well received so I thought I would do another one and see how well this ones does too. Part I included some of my favourite tracks from Project Storm and Unit One Recordings and was what I would call FPHT (Free Party Hard Trance). Part II is even harder in my opinion and features lots of new tracks and some fairly new Artists. I have still included three tracks from my all time favourite producer- COMS! There are quite a few Blotter tracks too. Please let me know what you think. Feedback is always welcomed- good or bad :)

Tales From A Farm In Cornwall Part II- Free Party Hard Trance

The long awaited 3rd edition to the silly sunshine stompers series. Bit of a sentimental one for me as I pack up my decks for the last time in the house I started my journey as Big G. On to the next part of my story filled with many more banging tunes and big bass lines. 

As you might be able to tell, since coming back from Berlin I've been on a trance kick so enjoy this silly funky blend of jazzy, acidy trance and hard trance appropriate for only the finest of sunrise boogies.

Lego Hands - Silly Sunshine Stompers #3

It's Riggy release time! This time stepping up to the table we have @dgl_uk with a heavy-hitting hard trance BANGER straight outta the fields of the South West. Featuring a stomping kickbass set at a brisk 155bpm, and peppered with plenty of classic acid sounds and synth stabs, this one will sound right at home on the biggest rigs in the land.

DGL primarily mixes hardtrance and acid tekno, and you can definitely hear the cross-genre influence especially in the second drop. Big ups to legend of the party scene Don Cheadle for the wicked vocal sample - you really do need all that bass!

First half of this is a 4 deck mashup of Jungle, Hard Trance, Techno and Hi-Tech psytrance, second half is mostly Twisted Vegan Bootlegs played at JungleTek pace as an alternative to the Hard Trance being played on the main stage.

Originally a drum and bass DJ, Tommy found is passion for hard trance after discovering the free party scene in the early 2000s. It didn't take long for Tommy to put aside the drum and bass records and start putting together a hard trance vinyl collection, as soon as a set was ready Tommy began to play out regularly at free party's and it wasn't long before Tommy became a well known face as a DJ in the illegal rave scene.  before long Tommy wanted to add something a bit more original to his sets rather than playing the same tunes over and over and this is what sparked Tommy's passion for music production. After about a year of learning how to produce, a few of his own tracks floating about plus a few releases on labels such as GBH records and Mode 303 Tommy finally achieved his goal of getting a couple of tracks signed by the mighty Project Storm Recordings, with those tracks and now regularly being on the DJ line up for the legendary project storm events as well as a lot of support from the Dunstable's Twisted Culture, this is when Tommy really began to become one of the leading names in the UK free party hard trance scene, later on releasing tracks on labels including Unit One recordings, Rapture, Free the mind, Wired together, Impulsive and Unhinged audio, also playing regular sets at some of the biggest legal events and festivals from the scene, including Boomtown Festival, and 5 appearances on the legendary imagination stage at the much loved Illusive Festival.
