The final release for 2024 is ready to go! 
Label honcho Claudio Ricci teams up with his friend and studio partner Tsodor to bring you an energetic 2-track EP!

This past summer, Claudio and Tsodor began working together in the studio to see if the collaboration would enhance their musical and creative output. The experiment resulted in this 2-track EP, which showcases their musical diversity.

The first track of the EP, “Don’t You Know”, is a highly adaptable piece. 
With breakbeat-inspired rhythms, percussive elements, a bassline that hits you square in the face, 
a lead synth that sticks in your head, and a vocal sample instantly recognizable to late ‘80s music lovers, this track is a true standout.

“Face To Face” takes a completely different direction. 
This is a track to experience from start to finish, offering a deep, hypnotic groove layered with a constantly evolving pad. The chords serve as the hook and complete the journey, making it the perfect track to create magical moments in the early morning hours.

We’re wrapping up the year with this release and are excited to announce that Claudio Ricci and Tsodor have plenty more music in store for Raft in the near future!

I’m a hobbyist songwriter who creates music across genres, letting the mood and lyrics shape the sound. Inspiration can come from almost anything I see, feel, or hear — even a sad movie might spark the urge to write something melancholic. When I make music, I often connect deeply with it myself, sometimes even moved to tears by the songs I create.

I started writing songs because music has always been an essential part of my life. Without music, there would be no life. For me, it’s a safe place, a way to process emotions, and a medicine that helps with almost anything.

I use different DAWs like FL Studio and Audacity, and sometimes build tracks from loops. Thanks to today’s tools, the vocals you hear are virtual — which is probably for the best, so no one’s ears have to suffer from my singing!

All kinds of music can inspire me, as long as it touches me in some way. If my music can resonate with someone out there, then it’s all worth it.

IMWSDM 

It is music. I recommend headphones. Some of the mixes will not sound right without them. These are largely composed in mixed genre of experimental, minimal, electronic, rock, hip hop, and spoken word. I'm a bass player mostly and firstly. So, I try to work in elements of my bass playing. I started by just mixing samples. Then I started transposing my bass samples to midi and remixing them through synths. I still do that. Experimenting has helped me find ways to use voices and a variety of sounds and samples to create a lot of different textures and musical qualities. With form, depending on how I feel, I will look to interrupt the flow in ways that are unsatisfying or irregular. Like getting jarred by sudden change. It isn't my only approach but, I do it. I sometimes create the form right after I lay out all of the samples and clips in scenes in ableton.  I try to play them like an instrument. The journey of figuring things out will often be the thing I try to capture but that doesn't always translate. Enjoy.

After attending his first rave (3-D VISUALIZE YOUR SENSES) Discovering a new world and getting to watch performances by George Acosta, Gridlok and Space Girl was nothing short from a mind blowing experience. It was a life changing experience. Stereo Nine then decide he wanted to be the one behind the decks making the crowd go crazy. As a Denver resident he started his deejay career playing house parties moving to underground raves and well known shows like Brainwash, Mardi gras, Hallowfreaknween and many more. S9 brings a new style of mash ups, live edits and bouncy bass heavy beats, loves to be the one on the decks giving the crowd a unique live experience they can later talk about. Wasting no time has quickly made a name of himself in Denver's thriving dance scene getting booked to play some of Denver's best night clubs like Temple, Church, Vinyl, Bar Standard and The Legendary Beta Nightclub earning himself a DJ residency at Club Vinyl From 2013 to 2014 one of Denver's top 3 night clubs. Stereo Nine has been working creating his own sound through production and has a Record sing to HyperBlast Records on Beatport. Currently working on mastering his craft experimenting with different sounds and styles working on producing high quality tracks for the fans to enjoy!
