Once more not much of jamuary.

However, a fourth "installment" with the dfam.

Little jam on the DFAM. 2 Loops on the Octatrack (controlled by faderfox pc12, not in frame) and the tastychips GR-1 (not in frame - I'll work on it, promise) for whatever swoosh-sounds as well as the Soma labs Lyra-8.

Processing:

DFAM has Decapitator and a send for delay and a little reverb.
Lyra with  valhalla super massive reverb, abletons saturator. EQ cuts everything below 150 hz
Octatrack and GR-1 have only low-end removed

DFAM Diaries - 4

A short take from a recent jam, working on our live set 2.0 - the Pure Techno series.

Paul Hood and Jason Murphy (Dissonance Network) met in 2019. Both Alumini of Subsine Academy in Glasgow, the duo first partnered for a couple of pre Covid gigs in Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
Post Lockdown they performed numerous hardware jams together and are working on honing the results of these jams, with their first recordings due to be released in 2022/23.

Influences range from classic Techno through to modern harder variations, shot through with a Modular sense of polyrhythm and a taste of melodic sample based breakdown.
Live hardware sequencing together with samples and FX create a heady mix of tense and exciting Techno.
