Finally - after months of a lot of heartache, countless struggles and challenges, turmoil that this work has brought me - it is finally here, Idyllic and yet to come for 7 woodwind ensamble, that was written in my Erasmus year in its drafts and even performed as one movement work in my composition concert in Tallinn, but ultimately found its full performance and completed as a two movement cycle recorded on my return in Riga. 

This track is filled with deep sorrow, pure light, emotions, turmoil and everything that happened to me through its writing process - it is made up of two movement that contradict yet compliment each other beautifully in sense that they each tell their own story. 1st movement is slow, dragged out, stretched and complex filled with harmonic structures that I have not used up before and with new thought process that started in its writing - while 2nd movement is fast paced, quick, ever so changing and unpredictable in nature yet keeping that lingering longing sound from the movement before. This song is all about acceptance, warmth, light and constant change and in these past months I have endured a lot of it, so I am grateful that this piece is finally with me and I can listen to it in full scope despite all the background issues that surrounded it.

Cyber Psychosis is a song about dissociation, depersonalisation, and psychosis. It is how that is.

Dissociation is when everything cuts out. You disconnect from thoughts, feelings, people, time, sound.
Depersonalisation is not just feeling detached. It is feeling like you are not real.
Psychosis is when your mind breaks from reality. It can mean seeing things, hearing things, or being unable to tell what is true anymore.

I do not associate with my body. I do not want it. It does not feel like mine. It never did.

"Reject the flesh" is about that. About refusing to live inside something that feels like a cage. Not just discomfort. Rejection.

The title Cyber Psychosis is what it feels like. Like glitching out. Like becoming something else. Something cold, cracked, coded, wrong.

Some lines repeat because thoughts do. They loop. They spiral. You grab onto one thing and say it again and again because it is all you have left.

This song was inspired by my themfriend, Mide.
I also feel all of this on a personal level.

Wisp Wolf Dissonance is not just a name. It's a pulse that doesn’t follow rules. A howl wrapped in static. A signal flickering through smoke and memory. It’s me, Willow. And it’s us. The voices that live in me. The parts that don’t always speak in words, but always make sound. What you’re hearing isn’t just music. It’s a transmission from a body that never settled into one shape.

We don’t just sing. We don’t just write. We do it all. The noise, the melody, the movement underneath. Every lyric, every scream, every glitter-drenched drone or stripped-down whisper is something we crafted from scratch. No producers. No teams. Just hands and heart and code and chaos. My partners sometimes help me with ideas or inspiration, but what you hear is something we build ourselves, from the inside out.

We shift. That’s the truth. You might notice that no two tracks sound alike. One might be soft, nearly a lullaby. The next could cut like broken glass. It’s not a gimmick. It’s not mood swings. It’s something akin to dissociative identity disorder, though I’m not formally diagnosed. I’m fighting for that clarity. I live with psychosis, CPTSD, and other neurodivergent conditions that impact how I perceive reality. I experience episodes. My sense of self fractures and reforms. There are different voices, different moods, different ways of being that move through me. And when we create, that shows up in the sound.

This is not an attempt to fake or force anything. I’m not gatekeeping or trying to claim something I haven’t earned. This is just how I process my world. How I make sense of myself. And how I stay alive. Our music shifts because we do. And every version is real. Every voice is part of me. That isn't inconsistency. That’s truth in motion.

Wisp Wolf Dissonance is a sanctuary for the shapeshifters. The fae-drifters. The glitchcore kin. The neurospicy. The queer. The system-made and soul-scattered. The ones too strange for genre and too honest for silence. We don’t fit. So we make spaces that do. Our music is jagged and gentle. Loud and trembling. It's holy and haunted. It's everything we are, stitched together and humming.

Some tracks are sorrow. Some are fury. Some are hope with teeth. Some are just noise because the silence was heavier. Everything here is a timestamp of a moment we lived. We don’t polish it into perfection. We offer it as it is. Breathing. Changing. True.

Wisp Wolf Dissonance is not a brand. It's a den. A portal. A system of signals. A love letter written in distortion. This space is ours. But if it speaks to you, it's yours too.
