Opener remix from Scott McKay aka Fear-E is a ragged body track with dirty bass. EBM and raw old school techno aesthetics feed into his work. He has done so on revered labels like Dark Entries, Super Rhythm Trax, Don’t Be Afraid, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Zone and his Posh & Music. The punchy and decisive sound of this remix makes it brilliant warehouse banger. Сheck it now!

Musician, composer and producer, Naila Borensztein was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has lived off music since 2008. She has a bachelor in Musical Composition with Electroacoustic Media from the University of Quilmes. Four albums edited with her ex-band No Lo Soporto and many collaborations achieved with important Argentinian musicians such as Gustavo Cerati. She recorded her first album at Luis Alberto Spinetta’s studio. Won the Clarin revelation award (2007) and the MTV award (2008) for best independent band. She also produced a track with the current producer of Depeche Mode, Kurt Unala, and edited a 7inch acid house vinyl with her band Acid Goonies.

Today, Naila spends her time programming rhythm machines, synthesizers and samplers (Roland SH-101, TB-303, TR-808 y Akai MPC1000) with her solo project, Naiborg. Naiborg played festivals such as Sonar Buenos Aires, MUTEK Argentina, Recreo (Chile and México) and New Trash.

Thym Flies B2B Marticos Hell - A bit of Walhalla 12-04-24

Crate-digging is fun! This is a mix I've done, originally planned for, uh, February, where I've made a mix of UK techno (loosely defined), which covers all angles, which means that the mix starts off pretty stripped-down and minimal, then goes through some chunky modern acid house, then into some bass-heavy dub and jungle influenced techno that could only come from the UK, some more loopy hardgroove-style stuff, then steadily more banging and intense, right up to some classic London acid techno, modern industrial techno from Perc and, finally, my own extremely uncompromising track ‘Crossbones’!

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Fear-E. Today we present "7.4 On the Richter", an acid injected banger that comes off the Scottish producer's imprint Posh End Musicnew new split EP 'The City 2 City', which also features UK techno legend and all round top geezer Jerome Hill. Four tracks that bounce between techno, acid and oddball house, which are all aimed at ripping up the dance. Pressed onto purple translucent vinyl.

Scott McKay, also known as Fear-E, is a DJ and producer based in Glasgow. He specialises in jacking house, techno, and electro, drawing inspiration from the raw early sounds of Chicago, Detroit, and the UK. Additionally, his work as Breakbeat Energy showcases a blend of breakbeat, jungle, and hardcore music influenced by the 90s and early 2000s UK rave scenes. 

Scott has built an impressive discography, releasing music on respected labels such as Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Dark Entries. He also runs his own label, Posh End Music, which is dedicated to releasing high-quality electronic music that pays homage to his roots. Recently, he founded another outlet, sister label Breakbeat Energy, focusing on all forms of music that stem from the hardcore-oriented spectrum.

Over the past decade, Scott has delivered impactful DJ sets across various venues and festivals in the UK and further afield. He has made guest appearances on several radio shows and has received airplay on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and Rinse FM, with his tracks featured in Radio 1's Essential Mix multiple times. Eelco’s music has always been eclectic. He has been passionate about music from an early age, drawn to a wide range of sounds, from indie, rock, metal, jazz to hip-hop and drum & bass. But everything changed when he experienced his first AWAKENINGS techno party in Amsterdam over 20 years ago. That day, he had an epiphany! The pulsating energy, the hypnotic rhythms they were a calling.
From that moment on, he became addicted to the raw, driving force of Techno and Electro.
"The first time I stepped into a warehouse and FELT that hard bass, those hissing  sharp hi-hats, and the deep, hypnotic groove of proper Techno, I knew I had come home!"
