Relaxing Baltic Sea Waves – Estonia’s Hiiumaa Island

I managed to use an old bag as a handle bar bag on my bicycle. It was intended to be used for my camera. Then I remembered this bag was used before as a hidden binaural recorder bag with mics left and right in the side pockets. So, I put the mics and the recorder in too. This is the result. A mix of several parts of the tour: departure / climbing up to the Friesenbrücke / walking over the Friesenbrücke / cycling to the Seeschleuse in Papenburg / walking over the Seeschleuse / cycling back home / Arrival.

A light evening rain begins to fall in the bald cypress forest and Southern Cricket frogs clack clack in the Big Cypress Natural Preserve in the Florida Everglades. Barred owls softly call, a song bird speaks up mid recording, and toward the end a red-shouldered hawk cries overhead. A 180 Hz shelf in post filters out most of the distant aircraft rumble. Recorded August 2025. Sony PCM M10 and Clippy Omni “tree ears”.
