There is a quiet moment as winter begins to loosen its grip, when the frost softens, the light lingers a little longer, and time seems to gently unfold. With 'Piano Distance', Japanese composer Nakamura Hiroyuki invites us into that fragile threshold between seasons.

A pianist, composer, and visual artist working at the intersection of acoustic instrumentation and electronic processing, Nakamura’s work dissolves boundaries, between sound and environment, between memory and presence. His compositions weave together piano, field recordings, and textured electronics, forming immersive soundscapes that feel as much like places as they do pieces of music.

Where earlier works traced a dialogue between cultures and sonic traditions, 'Piano Distance' turns inward towards stillness, reflection, and quiet transformation.

This is music of thaw.

Delicate piano phrases surface like meltwater, tracing gentle paths through layers of drifting texture and soft harmonic haze. Sounds emerge, linger, and dissolve, carrying with them the subtle tension of something changing, something opening.

The result is a work that feels both intimate and quietly expansive-a meditation on impermanence, on seasonal change, and on the gentle passage from stillness into motion.

With 'Piano Distance', Nakamura Hiroyuki joins the Fluid Audio catalogue with a release that resonates with its ethos, yet carries its own distinct clarity: restrained, luminous, and deeply contemplative. BLENDETIK is a duo established in 2024 formed by Ivan Palatinuš (DJ profLacPa) and Davor Ivanov (Mr. Keys) in Zagreb, Croatia.  They decided to combine their knowledge of classical and modern music in order to create music with jazz, house and ambient elements. The name "BLENDETIK" reflects our blended ideas, minds and taste in music.

During his DJ career, Ivan Palatinuš ("profLacPa") performed at numerous electronic music parties in Croatia and abroad ("Love Parade"/Berlin, "Brod Ljubavi"/Adriatic Tour, "Green Town Beats festival" Zelina). Behind him are many guest appearances on radio shows ("House Tuner" - Radio Zelina) and clubs throughout Croatia and Europe ("Ambasada Gaviola"/Izola, "Paradiso"/Dobova, "Funk"/Zagreb, "Mungos"/Zagreb, "Hacienda"/Brač, "Masters"/Slavonski Brod)

He collaborated with numerous famous Croatian and foreign musicians, among whom stand out the collaboration with Dino Dvornik, Cortex Thrill and DJ Evil Eddie Richards.

Davor Ivanov ("Mr. Keys") graduated from the high school of music "GU Elly Bašić" where he played accordion. He has been a member of the Academic Accordion Orchestra "Ivan Goran Kovačić" for many years, and in addition to the accordion he also plays keyboards in the rock band "VIS Breskvice".
