Composed and arranged by Mark Hanson in his book Fingerstyle Guitar. Another ambient acoustic track built on repeating motifs and gentle resonance. Smooth fingerstyle lines over a subtle backing bed, creating a calm, reflective space.

Arranged by Fed Sokolow from his fantastic Fingerpicking Beatles book.  A gentle fingerstyle version of the Beatles essential. Focused, intimate guitar phrasing carrying the melody cleanly on top of a soft bed of harmony—simple, honest, and direct.

Arranged by a true master of the guitar, Dominic Miller.  A solo acoustic fingerstyle take on the Cat Stevens classic. Melody-led guitar over a light backing track, keeping the tune’s wandering, reflective vibe intact while giving it a modern acoustic touch.

Wild World

Arranged by a true master of the guitar, Dominic Miller and composed by Elton John.  A warm fingerstyle interpretation of Elton John’s ballad. The melody sits front and center with smooth chord movement beneath it, giving the tune a calm, heartfelt acoustic shape.

Fingerstyle Arrangement and Guitar TAB for, The Polar Express Theme, by composer Alan Silvestri.

Released in 2004, The Polar Express tells the story of a young boy who doubts the existence of Santa Claus. On Christmas Eve, he embarks on a magical journey to the North Pole aboard a train called the Polar Express, learning about friendship, courage, and the essential power of belief along the way.

Even though The Polar Express premiered well into my adulthood, I watch it every year with undiminished, child-like wonderment. The film has a strange Willy Wonka edge, generated by its dissonant sound design and the bizarre voice-over of the Know-It-All actor, Eddie Deezen. 

These elements combine to make the entire experience ever-so-slightly unsettling. I believe this subtle strangeness is precisely what so cleverly captures the imagination, even of an adult viewer.

Underneath this peculiar atmosphere is Alan Silvestri's joyful, celebratory score, which still anchors your subconscious in the holiday spirit. The theme itself is a modern classic—I truly consider it to be in the same caliber as a John Williams masterwork.

Hello, and welcome.
This channel is for anyone who finds healing through music.  I hope you enjoy the mix of covers and my originals.  I’m singing and writing my way through grief — one song at a time.  Drop me a comment if you find healing in my tunes.  You've come to the right place to heal through music.

I record everything myself in GarageBand: lead vocals, layered harmonies, acoustic rhythm guitar, V-Drums, and percussion, bringing in outside stems only when a song calls for extra texture. This is a true DIY process — heartfelt, handmade, and built on a shoestring — but one grounded in constant learning and growth. I’ve been deeply immersed in mixing and mastering so these songs can finally move beyond demo form and fully become what they’re meant to be.

My signature sound is acoustic-driven music anchored by a wide vocal range and rich three- and four-part harmonies. I move between genres depending on the emotional truth of each song, but I always stay honest. I’m a bit of a throwback — a rocker-hippie soul writing from the heart, unfiltered and real.

I spent years performing covers in Las Vegas and the San Francisco Bay Area, drawing from rock, jazz, pop, funk, and beyond. After stepping away from music to focus on family, life eventually brought me to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. Surrounded by forest, ocean, and the distant silhouette of Vancouver Island, I found a quiet peace I hadn’t known before. 

That process reopened a creative door I thought had closed. Poetry and lived experience turned into songs, and over the next year and a half I wrote more than 30 of them — stories shaped by loss, resilience, and the slow work of moving forward.

When I perform live, I work as a one-woman band using my Garage Band recordings as backing tracks to sing live.  Technology makes this journey possible, and I’m deeply grateful for it.  

To Erika, Rachel, Brooklynn, Rylie, and Lukas — you are forever in my heart. This music is the legacy of love I carry forward for you. I used to sing you songs all the time. Since losing you in 2019, writing and performing has been how I survive that loss, honor it, and keep love alive. I will never stop hoping to see you again.
