A sonic journey back to 1960s Cambodia. This is the introductory score for the Tourswat x Thuokna fashion show, a tribute to the beauty and freedom of women before the Khmer Rouge.

DJ CYMA TIKAL is a lightning artist. Offering a vibrant and flamboyant musical buffet. Kind of a salty-sweet dish with exotic spicy tips. Spreading bass elixirs from around the world that make the heart dance to the most euphoric ecstatic rhythms. His performances are a rich and varied adventure, skillfully maneuvering between deep house, organic downtempo, tribal trap, carefully seasoned with oriental and arabic instruments. A musical druid who concocts memorably exquisite and electrifying sonic journeys.

DJ CYMA TIKAL est un artiste foudroyant. Offrant un buffet musical vibrant et flamboyant. Un éventail sucré-salé aux pointes piquantes exotiques. Propageant des élixirs de basses du monde qui fait danser le cœur sur des rythmes extatiques des plus euphorisants. Ses prestations sont une aventure riche et variée manœuvrant talentueusement entre du house profond, du downtempo organique, du trap tribal, minutieusement assaisonné d'instruments orientaux et arabiques.                        Crafting Musical Alchemy on the BIG Island 

Immerse yourself in the deep transcendental sounds of OMRA  a sonic sorcereress stationed on the mesmerizing BIG Island of Hawaii. Renowned for conjuring magical and otherworldly DJ sets, OMRA traverses the musical spectrum with a one of a kind sound that spans across genres—from the wompy beats of bass to the rhythmic sauces of hip hop, and the tribal world vocal magic.

Having initially set foot in the world of music as a singer/songwriter, OMRA has evolved into a sonic architect, weaving an intricate tapestry of diverse genres and influences. The lush landscapes of the BIG Island serve as both muse and backdrop, infusing each set with the tropical essence and spiritual energy of the Pacific. In a unique fusion of past and present OMRA seamlessly integrates live vocals into the timeless journey. The evolution from singer/songwriter to DJ extraordinaire brings a personal touch to the sets, creating an intimate connection between artist and audience.

I've been closely connected to electronic music (and Depeche Mode) since my youth. To party, relax and recharge my batteries or even as "therapy". I can hardly find words to describe the feeling of music, its power, and I can't imagine to live without music.
 
I started about 30 years ago as a DJ at the small Paraphernalia Club (Broadway Cinema) in Essen, got back into it in the age of 50, inspired by the Akasha in Ibiza. You‘re never too old 😊 
My preferred sound style is mainly progressive or organic House. There must be something special in the sounds... Something pushing, spherical, deep, intense - slower or faster - depending on the mood, the situation, the weather, the place, the people 😊
