Japanese TikTok star MiiiPink and music producer Maydenfield return with new song “Very First Time” — a hyper-catchy summertime house anthem that blends their unique talents with effortless charm.

MiiiPink is riding a major wave right now, with millions of TikTok views, nightly live shows, a book in stores now, and a growing list of major brand endorsements. When Maydenfield visited her earlier this year to play her the song demo, he quickly realised that the best way to capture her spark would be to record her right there in her home, instead of in a studio. Armed with just a laptop and a minimal setup, they recorded her vocals in the kitchen in just three hours — raw, real, and ready for the world.

Maydenfield is the musical alias of JJ Barrado, a British-Spanish electronic music producer living in Tokyo, Japan, who fuses elements of melodic bass, house and progressive with Japanese sonics and visuals. His productions include his own singles, tracks for other artists, movie soundtracks and remixes for artists including for Fall Out Boy, Justin Bieber and Gotch (Asian Kung-Fu Generation). 

JJ has produced, recorded, and/or written for Tetsuya Komuro, Tommy February, Miho Hase, Xai, DJ Hello Kitty, DJ Yamato, Beatmania, Elixia, and X-Factor finalist Ayako Kanroji. He wrote and produced the soundtrack to major Japanese TOHO movie “Startup Girls” and TV Tokyo anime "Rusted Armors."
