What if Ramb was THE secret boss of deltarune: Chapter 3? The idea behind this started off as a lot of people were expecting him to become one but turned out it was Eram/John Mantle AND the Roaring Knight. In this scenario, however, he's given the shadow crystal and has darker backstory, leading to where he is now. He represents the aftermath of weird route with the plug's control mirroring the act of the player.

Romb is the final boss of the boards game. This final challenge requires all the ability each member possesses: throwing objects, transforming into a block, fighting enemies, and possibly even taking pictures. You must to get through every room with puzzles and attacks, then chase Romb in order to progress.

He doesn't want to hurt you, but the plug makes him do it in the video game. Perhaps the only way to win is to keep attacking him...

✤ I've been playing around with the idea of "Ramb Secret Boss" since a week ago and I'm really proud of how it turned out! There's so many things me and the other Moon have in store for this. But for now, we'll just give you a taste of what may come next...

I didn't even bother to replace toby's style for this im not experienced enough for that. I don't even know if this fits Carol that much (although that's kind of rectified by the rather tragic circumstances this fight would probably take place in; Kris stuck between a rock and a hard place and Carol becoming increasingly desperate), but i'd say it's better for the Ice Queen than the other battle themes for her i've seen (seriously? heavy metal-style electric guitar? for CAROL? i get using that for a younger version of her but like...come on...
also i'm definitely not a hypocrite guys you've GOTTA believe me!!!!!!!!!!)

This is a standalone track for an alternate "Chapter 5 take" or AU with a Dark World set in the Holiday Mansion (the chapter's name is just Glacier, for obvious reasons). Dess' guitar is the secret boss, and Carol here (known as the Queen; Jevil's talk about a "queen" actually has a double meaning here and refers to both Ch 2 Queen and Carol) is the main antagonist.

I'm not really going to go into the specifics of what exactly the motives for this are in the greater scope of things, but this is a battle with Noelle, Susie and Ralsei against Carol and Kris, hence the Faint Courage and Sevenfour motifs. Well, the former is more a reference to UT Asgore and the Determination motif, as the Carol fight here is the last major boss (paralleling Asgore and his fight in the neutral route) before Deltarune's "RPG" facade completely collapses and the game takes a hard turn towards metanarrative. And yeah, this fight takes place in an Ice Palace, which would probably be a more traditionally rendered version of the one seen in the MANTLE game. 

The second main motif is essentially meant to be one for Rudy (essentially, a Heartache-esque track for him. Not really my place to say if he'd be in this alternate Ch. 5 or not, though...because I don't know), since this song's structurally quite similar to ASGORE. And is the weakest part of the track by far if I'm being honest, but like making a good original motif for it was hard okay (it's also why I hesitated on releasing the song til last minute :p)

Cold Feet

Can't believe i'd actually make more than one track for this "take". This time, a rendition of what the Ice Palace from the sword route would look like as an actual area.

This is the track that plays in the first part of the Ice Palace, the desolate final area of Chapter ❄️. Its layout is somewhat similar to the one found in the SWORD Route minigame and accessing it is fairly similar in that you need to traverse a large frozen ocean (sort of representing the staircase to the third floor) to reach it.
As for the second part? It's something a lot more familiar...

Each floor of the Holiday Mansion is a different major area, mind you. Yes, that includes the basement. Kris ends up vanishing towards the end of the second area (on Carol's orders), but they use the whole "close their eyes and think about someone else" (and make the only choice "think about the Fun Gang") thing like in Chapter 4 as an act of disobedience; even though they can't be present, they will most certainly help their newfound friends to traverse the Ice Palace.
You'd also find the shelter codes here though they are guarded by a number of traps as well as a miniboss, as the equivalent to the Shelter Key in the Original Game; the door past the shelter codes (aka what would be the "SHE WAS USED UP" door) instead leads to the second part of the Ice Palace.

I'm not quite sure what would happen in this section in a weird route, perhaps Noelle infiltrates the Ice Palace from a different path than the others and the Player forces their way with Kris (the only choice being 'Think about Noelle' or something this time) rather than Kris voluntarily shifting perspective like in the normal route.
Speaking of Noelle, she'd have her hood up in the Weird Route to parallel the ice mage in the Sword Route, but it remains down otherwise. The ice mage guiding HERO_SWORD is taken in a twisted fashion, as HERO_SWORD will actually be interpreted as meaning the SOUL here...yeah, I think you know where that's going from there.
