Perfume is a song that I wrote on a grey walk in a Manchester park. Only after arriving back to my house, I realised it was about a semi-soft sense of closure of a seemingly okay relationship from many many years ago. I guess, the mind has its' own ways of coming to terms with things. I'm glad this time it was through song.
We recorded Perfume together with my friend & producer Rhys Jiang. I wanted to capture that raw and simple moment. This process is very much in contrast to the other four songs on my new EP Weird Wonder (out 22nd March), standing out a bit in it's very singer-songwriter tunésque way.
