STARSEARCH - The Organ Tune

As the title suggests, I relocated to the vibrant college town of Fort Collins, Colorado, as a transplant. My life as a producer, radio host, musician, and Nebraskan came to an end. The studio and reputation I had built in my hometown of Sidney were now something I had to start from over.

The transition was mentally taxing, but I discovered that an old friend and co-worker of mine had also made the move to bustling Fort Collins. We finally had the opportunity to create a show we had discussed for years. We made grand plans to interview local musicians, comedians, and businesses in our new community. However, as outsiders, we had a lot to learn and discover.

Unfortunately, we only managed to complete two episodes of this podcast and published them on Soundcloud. Nevertheless, the concept, which I owe to my friend, remained in my mind, and I eventually ended up adapting his format later in my career.

A year after the podcast episodes were released, Adam and I rented a house together. We had a great relationship, and I still consider him one of my closest friends.
