Nicolás Demattei nacido en Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires (Argentina), y actualmente residiendo en Madrid. A mediados de los años 90, tuvo si primer contacto con la música electrónica trabajando como RRPP de los mejores clubs electrónicos de su ciudad. De allí en adelante, desarrolló un profundo amor por el género y la Cultura de Club, presenciando diversos festivales a lo largo y ancho del mundo.

Influenciado por bandas como Depeche Mode o Radiohead y por Dj´s como John Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo o Danny Howells. Su oído evolucionó y se nutrió escuchando innumerables sesiones, encontrando e incorporando a su Adn un sonido y una marca distintiva basada en mezclas minuciosas y elegantes, dotadas de sonidos frescos y logrando crear armonías que generan una atmósfera esencial para la pista.

 Hoy en día es Socio Fundador de Lescat Producciones y Dj Residente en Underwater Events Madrid. 
 Nicolas se ha presentado en Argentina, España, Países Bajos, Chile, Grecia. Y en Festivales importantes como ADE Ámsterdam y Clubes como Lula Club, Club Magno o el Sótano, en Madrid.

Nicolás Demattei was born in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires (Argentina), and is currently residing in Madrid. In the mid-90s, he had his first contact working as a Public Relations (RRPP) for the best electronic clubs in his city. From there on, he developed a deep love for the genre and club culture, attending various festivals around the world.

Influenced by bands like Depeche Mode or Radiohead and DJs like John Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo, or Danny Howells, his ear evolved and nourished by listening to countless sessions, finding and incorporating into his DNA a distinctive sound and brand based on meticulous and elegant mixes, featuring fresh sounds and creating harmonies that generate an essential atmosphere for the dancefloor.

Today, Demattei is a Founding Partner of Lescat Producciones and Resident DJ at Underwater Events Madrid. 
 Nicolas has performed in Argentina, Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Greece. And in important Festivals like ADE Amsterdam and Clubs like Lula Club, Club Magno or El Sótano, in Madrid.

Dj Phi Phi’s career started in 1985.
One of most reputed belgium night club requested Phi Phi as resident DJ at “At The Villa” in 1987.
Following the several ascension as resident Dj at all biggest & famous nightlife in clubs such as Boccaccio Life (Destelbergen-Be) and Cirao (WaregemBe) in 1993. He was Phi Phi resident dj at Cafe d’Anvers in 1994, Tour & Taxi (1996), Fuse, Oxygene, Pulp (2001) & Barocco.
Known all over Belgium for his “Phi Phi Legendary Monday’s” at Extreme (Affligem, Brussels) between 1994 and 2002.
He has been played at worldwide Clubs & Festivals as Tomorrowland, Legacy Festival, WMC, Nikki Beach (Miami), Privilege (Ibiza), Noxx (Anvers), Fuse (Brussel), Pulse Factory with headliners such as Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Sasha, Oliver Lieb (LSG), Laurent Garnier & Danny Howells..

PRODUCER CAREER
Debut music producing started in completely french collaboration with Philippe Van Mullem in 1989 with, inter alia, UNA (Emotion, Can you hear me..), HONEY C (Stop the disease, Desire..), INNERTALES (Odysee, Voices Of Sirens..), QUADRAN (Eternaly, Free your mind..) and following the Quadran Debut Album “VOYAGE” which is kick-started movements of melodic & uplifting trance.

In 1995, Phi-Phi and French Dj-Producer Gregory Dewindt debut massive revelation “PHI PHI & GREG D – Jesus Trip” (X-Stream / DIKI Records) which has definitely burned the nightlife and got lot of influences, the most famous tune in belgian DJ scene and still a legendary track today, then this greatest seller announced the following amazing Duo classic & popular release “L’Odysee Of Love” & “Contact” on Bonzaï Trance Progressive.

Label brand Mackenzie Recordings founded by Stef Garner & Patrick Fasseau trusts to Phi Phi whose both tracks “Magma” & “Jungles Trip” cames out in 2003.
Then Stef Garner and Phi Phi, under the nick name “DB Movement”, released the house track “Funk Shaker” (WORK Records) in 2005 and both tracks “Rotation” & Evidence” (LCD Recordings) in 2013.

Phi Phi & Airwaves started kind of very british progressive sounds inspired of Bedrock style. Influenced so far by Sasha & John Digweed, their tracks such as “Back on track”, “Breeze on the nile”, “The Horn”, “Vanilla” & “Finesse” signed on BONZAI PROGRESSIVE get on top in best seller Beatport and Itunes in 2013.

2014 saw the new collaboration with Label founder IFONIKA RECORDINGS and friend, Roddy Reynaert. Their First E.P “Platinum” & “Neurotrope” has been released on special “Underground Series” on Roddy ‘s Label IFONIKA.

From 2015 to 2017, “Atlan”, “Believe”, “Mayhem” “Circulation” “Haarp” “Aokighara” “Tempora” “Cirao” + Remix were released with Roddy on BONZAI PROGRESSIVE rec.
“Tour & Taxi” “Corossol” and a remix of G-Brown “This is who we are” on SUFFUSED Rec

Moved to Florida in 1997 and heard my first electronic music.  I fell in love.  A couple years later I bought my first turntables and began teaching myself to DJ in my spare bedroom.  I went on to spin mostly Breaks/Breakbeats around north Florida in the later 90's to 2000's.  Nearly 20 years later, and in the mountains of Virginia, USA, I remain true to techno & breakbeats. There isn't much of an electronic scene around here, but if you need a club DJ in the Roanoke/Lynchburg area of Virginia, please reach out. Thank you, and enjoy!

I've been listening to electronic music since 1997. Sasha & Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox were my favorite DJ's/producers. Over the years I've grown more toward Techno w/ Carl Cox (the king) still in there, but Adam Beyer, Tiger Stipes, Bart Skils, Weska are some of my favorites now. I finally bought decks at the end of 2020 during the pandemic and joined Club Ready DJ school. The Club Ready Tribe is a great source for information as well as Dance Freex Radio and live streams. I would highly recommend any new DJ or a DJ that wants to brush on their skills to buy the course.   Please Enjoy!

Born and raised in Ghent Belgium.

I got hooked on Kick's & Hi-Hat's at the age of 13 during the early days of New Beat . At the age of 15 I started mixin house & Techno using casettes and vinyl.   

It wasn't untill I heard Sasha & John Digweed play that I made a switch to progressive,  ...ever since then I've been playing  a progressive style that has a punch combined with still melodic moments.
