The instrumental EP “Terra Incognita” is made by the danish composer Emil Smith, who has worked with multiple musicians and drawn on some of his film- and game music scores. The EP is an exploration of music from beyond the edges of the map inspired by the curiosity of The Age of Discovery. Tribal drums carry you through a jungle of otherworldly textures into contemplative meadows and ancient temples. In the end, the urge to go beyond the horizon is concluded as we land in a more grounded place and decide to stay.

It's mixed and mastered by Emil Smith, published by indie label 'Nembus Music', and features the following musicians:

Based on the Irish reel of the same title from O’Neill’s “Music of Ireland”, the track moves into ethereal chants to the goddess Eostre, underpinned by framedrum, tamborine, and a squishy downtempo groove. An additional atmospheric mix is available exclusively with the Bandcamp single.

Xxhe or Ж is an ice composer, vocalist, sound artist, serrulate sonancer, performance artist, poet, bending shape dancer, martial artist, experimental opera borner, and groundbreaking creator from San Francisco.

Known for writing a "strange-tundra" opera at the age of seventeen using the sounds of wind, ice, orchestral instruments, and the human voice, Xxhe styled a new genre and continues to invent new ways to write music.

The founder of the “Dialect Halls of Ж: the rooms to sonancers, movists and zuo dialects,” a collective which curates unusual and intimate performances, Xxhe is a gatherer of musicians, performing story-heavy dance pieces to their original compositions in both above and underground places - never without an extraterrestrial flare and a drop of otherworldliness.

Not, and this marks its artistic profile, not additively, "side by side". Ullip combines these functions in order to let a new something emerge from them. CDs whose tracks do not preserve and reproduce "played music" as is usually the case. But CDs where the music is created by editing, mixing and recording it "on the fly". The CD as an audience, so to speak. With the great advantage that - in contrast to live sessions - one can enjoy the cuts of the CDs over and over again.
Based on a rich musical experience and an almost "wild" past, Ullip - together with other musicians - has today found a style that activates and inspires a special genre:

'Chained music'.

Sounds and pieces, music and rhythms that are played in a self-inspiring way or created on technical devices. Born in the moment, just like jazz. Also, not only as in jazz, given as a theme, otherwise improvised. Above all, they are not reproductions in the sense of notated notes. All the elements that stand between the first beat and sound of a live gig, a studio recording and the final burning process on a CD are interlinked to create what the "piece" recorded on silver discs ultimately is.

Drumspyder weaves a web of percussive rhythm, melody, and line. Framedrums, tambourines, and  low whistles mingle with bass beats and ethereal atmospheres, bringing the Celtic and British Islands traditional music into vital contemporary expression.

Scott Sterling has always followed the path of rhythm. Over the course of a long journey through diverse forms of drumming and dance music: avant-garde circus, slinky bellydance troupes, and acclaimed bass-music productions, the one constant has been the beat of the drum. 

Over the past several years he has specialised in the realm of framedrums and tambourines. Influenced by modern framedrum masters such as Glen Velez and David Kuckhermann, but also inspired by the rhythms of the Irish bodhran, he follows a distinctive path through the world of contemporary percussion: fusing his experience with cross-cultural framedrum techniques and Arabic rhythms with a new-found love of Celtic dance music. 

To this rhythmic foundation he adds traditional melodies (played on low whistles and various keyboards) drawn from the folk music of Ireland, Scotland, and England , as well as the rich repertoire of Medieval and Renaissance music from the British Isles. 

Out of the alchemy of rhythm, melody, and his long experience in dance music production, he has forged a unique approach to Celtic and Medieval fusion, where elements of trance, bass-heavy electronica, and ethereal atmospheres mingle into an intoxicating brew. His overall ambition is to connect traditional rhythms and melodies with the contemporary dancefloor.

Luca Pertegato (aka xo00) nasce nel 1962 a Milano dove vive e lavora ancora oggi. Dopo una formazione nelle arti visive (pittura, grafica, illustrazione, incisione) e un percorso professionale come grafico e illustratore, nel 2001, spinto anche dalla inesauribile passione per la musica elettronica, contribuisce alla fondazione di Otolab, collettivo di sperimentazione audiovisiva. Qui si dedica all’esplorazione dei rapporti sinestetici tra luce e suono e alla creazione di live performance e installazioni audiovisive, con le quali partecipa a festival nazionali e internazionali di arti elettroniche e digitali.
Dal 2005 è docente di Performance Audiovisiva presso diverse università e accademie d’arte e design come: Naba, Politecnico di Design e Accademia di Brera di Milano, Rufa di Roma, Supsi di Lugano. Progetta inoltre seminari e workshop anche per organizzazioni non accademiche. 
Nel 2011 con Antonio Cavadini sviluppa il progetto Lumanoise per l’auto-costruzione di mini sintetizzatori audio LDR.
Nel 2020 con il percussionista Lorenzo D’Erasmo e la cantante Beyza Çakır dà vita al progetto di live performance Ife.
