Storm (Dreams to Dust) tries to capture the ever-growing frustration of aging without a clear sense of purpose. Days pass and life keeps going until you look yourself in the mirror to find your best days have passed and the dreams you hoped to accomplish have all turned to dust. This is conveyed through the lyrics and the increasing chaos of the instrumental ending of the song.

Something or someone is calling you.

Drawn to the magnificent moon resting low in the starlit sky, you make your way out into the dense mangroves, the soft sand cushioning your steps.

Along the shoreline, moonbeams cast a silvery sheen over the sparkling surface of the tranquil sea.

A gentle ocean breeze paints your skin as the sand between your toes solidifies under the foamy water lapping at your feet.

Wading further, you freeze, captivated by the bioluminescent tail of a fish dancing, shimmering, and fading into darkness.

A firefly draws your gaze toward a sloop anchored close to shore, your heartbeat rising as bells suddenly echo across the bay.

You can hear the creaking of rigging, the rolling of kegs, and music; a rhythmic beat, frantic and bold as you taste the sweet scent of rum in the air.

Your eyes glaze over as flickering flames cast shadows of dancing sylphs carried ashore during times of high adventure and lawlessness. Such beauty was everywhere.

It’s late. A voice speaks from behind.

I'm a DJ and producer that started spinning records back in 1998. I had the best days of my life in the London club scene at events such as Escape From Samsara, Pendragon, Trancentral and Frantic.
Over the years I have played alongside Lab4, Andy Farley, Mark EG, Chris Liberator, Sterling Moss, Beamish, Jace, Tara Reynolds, Ephexis and Alek Száhala. 
I also co-ran an event called Synthetic at Club 414 in Brixton during the early '00's.

The Whiskey Jerks came together when Gillian Snider, who no longer wanted to drink alone, felt it was time to expand upon her one woman accordiana show. After convincing the talented Anna Bekolay (violin), Sarah Scharf (clarinet, alto sax, barisax), Nevin Buehler (upright bass), Peter Abonyi (guitar) and Aidan Weiman (drums) to join her on her misadventure, The Whiskey Jerks soon began to create their own distinct niche, blending klezmer, country-blues, gypsy-punk, rock
and jazz with clever lyrics, stories, and an honest prairie sound.
Playing venues and festivals from Vancouver to Ottawa, along with regular rotation on CBC, CKUA, CFCR and numerous other community radio stations across Canada, The Whiskey Jerks’ sound is rife with originality, sweet vocal blends, and a distinct whiskey-soaked
sensibility!

Unshackled by genre, the Wave2 sound is a blend of melodic, rhythmic, and ambient elements that frequently incorporate field recordings and analog instruments / effects.
