After a much needed break, I'm pleased to say I'm back in the shack and cooking up musical delights for ya. This one is something I've been meaning to do for a while - this track would be a bit of a guilty pleasure if I was in any way guilty about liking it. It’s a banger… there's so many bits that I like in this tune and a few bits that I don't, so I've rebuilt it as an extended 7 minute monster. Lots of messing about with stems in here, and the end result is familiar, but kind of different. I hope you enjoy it - of course it's yours for free, sugar!

It’s a marriage of two noughties songs you might not have heard for a while - Dance Wiv Me by Calvin Harris, and Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy. I’ve called it Gnarly Calv, and have laid CeeLo’s unique vocal over Calvin’s groovy melody. It’s straightforward, I’m not sure how well it works, but it’s yours if you want it. Maybe I’m crazy?!

It more or less sank without a trace back then, and I think it's a solid concept so I'm giving it another chance at glory. It's had a full refresh and I'm really pleased with how much fuller, cleaner and more alive it's sounding. Lots of tongue in cheek rave cliches in here - hell, I even sampled my own Amen Break! This is one that I started a couple of years back, shelved for ages because I couldn’t figure out which way to take it, but I’ve finally got there! It’s an edit of one of my favourite tracks of all time, One Nation Under a Groove by Funkadelic. I’ve transformed one of the funkiest tracks ever into a raw, jackin’ house monster - high tempo with a stomping, distorted kick. I’ve rearranged things considerably, added some crispy new percussion but tried to keep that oh so funky bassline intact. As ever, it’s free for you lovely people - get involved!
