Long-time Freerotation regular Luke Farey from Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex, England delivers almost 2 hours up in the mix for his debut on Avenue Red! Luke has been a DJ, collector and enthusiast of many, many styles since 1989. As per usual, here we have an unplanned and strictly vinyl-only mix capturing his mood at the time of recording. Never keen on the safe or easy mix, here we have a smorgasbord of feelings, meandering all over the place but somehow cohesively retaining Luke's trademark deep and psychedelic vibe. The Avenue isn't just red today, it's bursting with colour!

We met Bryn for the first time whilst sharing a lineup for Bugs Groove's OST party in Leeds and got along instantly. He's a top man all around and we hope our paths cross again sooner than later.

As an original member and resident DJ of the prestigious Freerotation Festival, he has shared the stage with global techno icons such as Surgeon, DJ Bone, Blawan/Karenn, Inigo Kennedy, Kerrie, and Speedy J.

With a love of house, techno, and an exposure to a variety of electronic music, Mötas likes to forge funky fresh house sounds with minimal beats and a techno touch. He’s featured amongst some of the best from the underground scene at festivals & gigs such as Freerotation, Queens Yard Summer Party, Lion & Lamb, Artum, The Cause, Heal Festival and Natural Selections. Listening to DJ sets in the dome at Freerotation inspired him to get on the decks, and he's quickly developing his own style. Mötas is now producing deep cuts, balanced out with feel good flavour. Some of which we will be hearing in 2025. His event ‘Ymuno’ brings together the sounds he loves most on a dance floor, and his crew have created a new fresh vibe, that's quickly gaining momentum.

The enigmatic Myles Sergé is a low-flying techno producer, hard-working label head, and uncompromising DJ — though he prefers the term “reclusive perfectionist.”

His sound strips techno down to its rawest form. Bypassing the melodic classicism of Detroit, Sergé pushes toward a stark, European-leaning minimalism, all while channeling a machine-funk energy that defines both his DJ sets and productions.

A regular guest at Berlin’s Tresor, Sergé has also performed at Berghain, Griessmuehle, and ://about blank, alongside his residency at Steevio’s Freerotation Festival in Wales. His transatlantic presence bridges the US underground with Europe’s most revered techno institutions.

Through his own labels — (MS) and Calder City Development Corp (CCDC) — Sergé has built a platform for uncompromising techno. His productions have also appeared on respected imprints including Ilian Tape, Thema Recordings, and Dan Curtin’s Metamorphic.

Beyond the club, Sergé co-hosts (MS) LIVE with D-KNOX on YouTube, alongside long-time collaborator and Sonic-Mind Records frontman Donnell Knox, where the two explore the deeper layers of techno culture.

Always in the shadows but never far from the forefront, Myles Sergé remains a rare figure in modern techno: elusive, relentless, and fiercely dedicated to the craft.

Alex Downey has been supporting the UK electronic underground movement as a DJ, record-shop manager and now radio presenter for nearly 20 years. Based in Brighton on the south coast of England, he is arguably the city's most prominent purveyor of all things Techno, where he is a regular fixture at the premier high profile events, alongside acts such as Underground Resistance and Derrick May.  
As the main driving force behind the counter at Brighton's highly respected and much-missed [covert] record store & web-site, he was instrumental in bringing quality Techno & House to the city - and beyond, developing along the way a boundless knowledge, vast record collection and infectious passion for the music that's unmatched by most. 
His musical taste & experience speaks for itself and his nocturnal activities behind the decks have earned him much respect and a great reputation amongst the global electronic community. He has been invited to perform at many key events such as ‘Free-rotation’ in Wales,'The Big Beat Boutique' & 'Stompa-phunk' in Brighton, 'Retro_vert' & 'Wiggle' in London, ‘Labyrinth’ festival & ‘Haus-Tek’ in Tokyo, and at many other far-flung destinations, hundreds of smaller parties and long-forgotten club nights that rocked hard, and kept the lifeblood of the scene pumping. He is currently resident DJ at 'Our Friends Electric' in Brighton as well as the 'Split' / 'B A L A N C E' parties in London where he has recently shared the stage with Red-shape, Dave Clarke, Robert Hood, Luke Slater and Carl Craig, to name a few. You can also hear him spin on the ‘Split Show’ - a globally syndicated online radio show with a large number of keen listeners worldwide that he co-presents alongside techno legend Ben Sims.
Alex’s energetic style and enthusiasm for all things deep & electronic are sure to bring some magic to the party and are matched only by his razor-sharp DJ skills. One of the UK’s treasures, solidly and confidently attending to business while other media-hyped storms have come and gone.
