Our next Friends and Family mix comes from one of our staff newest to DJing. That being said in a short amount of time Phonica family member Josh Fortune (a.k.a Rark Mothko) has built up his reputation to secure a residency on Voices Radio as well as playing monthly at Soho hot spot The Social. For this mix Josh takes us on a journey of some of his select club focused records mainly in the realms of tech and classical house music. Mixed to perfection this is a solid hour and perfect calling card to one of Phonica's newest residence.

A DJ whose taste stretches the realms of Nu Beat, Afro, Cosmic, Disco, House and funky Techno; we are delighted to welcome Jaime Fiorito for our next Phonica Friends and Family mix. Having been exposed to such a large vast knowledge of music through his father, the legendary Balearic don DJ Alfredo, Jaime from a young age was born to follow in his footsteps. His style of DJing which currently touches off  leftfield house & techno, disco, African rhythms and seductive balearic have seen him touchdown at hot spots all over Ibiza, South America and Berlin's Panorama Bar.

For over a decade Lick the DJ has been playing on the same continents as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, Trentemøller, Adam Beyer, Bassnectar, Daft Punk, Missy Elliott, Britney Spears, and many more. While in Berlin during the temperate summer of 2011 he successfully visited the headquarters of M-nus Records and was refused entrance to the world famous Berghain night club. He did, however, get into Twilo three separate times in the '90s.

Founded by the late Alex Rath, in Berlin, Germany around 17 years ago, now owned and run solely by Mariana Orsho in London, UK. 
The label's historical imprints have consistently over the past years reached peak positions in the global vinyl charts and have proudly presented the works of Diego Krause, Terry Francis, Baldo, Ruff Stuff, Audiopath, Martin Dacar,  Jeremy P. Caulfield, Mike Wall, FOG, Nicola Brusegan, Glasidum and many more, with exciting releases to come in 2024 including the works of Jay Tripwire, Reboot, Ray Okpara, Cirkel Square, Camilo Gil and many more. 
Suena Hermosa will continue to honour the classic sound of the label throughout time and will always retain our vinyl only promise. 

We regret to announce that at this point, we cannot accept any more demos for 2024/25, due to our full release schedule, as it is of utmost importance for us to honour the works in line to come first, however we always welcome new works for future consideration in mind and are always grateful for you reaching out and connecting with us, and sharing your music and thoughts with us.
