The closing song “You” is originally by Bad Religion. Instead of a two-minute Skate Punk banger, it keeps the molten doom going into a nine-minute droning funeral dirge for the world. In contrast to the growls and snarls throughout the album, lead vocals are of the angelically sung variety and are performed by Celine Myette. As this 39bpm sludged-out version builds up, the intensity increase, the growls return, and the instrumentation is pushed to the point of total meltdown until it fades with a whimper into “signalnotfound.wav”.

The Doom Ryder is the musical alter ego of Ayushman Dasgupta.
