A faint melody drifts through an empty corridor, its echoes swallowed by the dark. "Corridor of the Void" unfolds slowly, heavy and distant, moving toward something unseen.

Piano notes fall like distant chimes, their weight lingering in the stillness. Rhythms pulse in the background, steady yet unfeeling. A voice calls from the depths—not as a cry, but as a presence, quiet and unrelenting.

There is no resolution, only the slow pull of time.

As a political band in nature, we detest empire, hatred, war, and greed, and we WILL make a change in this world... for better or for worse.

Sudden Sniffing Death's music is an abrasive, deathcrushing, torturous, boiling, visceral blend of the violent depths of War Metal bands such as Bestial Warlust and Blasphemy, the reverent doom of Sludge Metal bands like Thou and Funeral, the hard-hitting slam of Extermination Dismemberment, Suffocation, and Devourment; the melodic darkness of Scarab and Lipoma, the classic groove of Exodus and Metallica, the sophistication of Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, Haydn, Bizet, Schubert, Schumann, Joseph Bolougne, Shostakovich, Hildegard von Bingen, among hundreds of others; classic rock bands like the Beatles, Elvis, Sister Rosetta; and lived darkness that each and every affiliate of the band has experienced to unimaginable extents and been shaped into miserable shells of the demons we were born as, shed of original sin, but newfound Lords of Death.

YSIGIM stands as one of the pioneers of dark funeral doom metal. The band's primary activity took place from 1993 to 1996, during which they released their debut album "Ain Soph Or" in 1994 and the compilation album "Whispers" in 1996. After several attempts to reunite, they successfully returned in late 2023.

In November 2024, YSIGIM unveiled their new EP/album titled "Dead God Lies," featuring a compilation of mixes from 2006 to 2012 of previously unreleased tracks, along with three new songs, including a 2024 reimagining of "Self Blessing" from their album "Ain Soph Or."
