A Geoffrey is the psychedelic trance project of Geoffrey Smith from Durban, South Africahas been active in the scene since 2000 and DJ-ing as A GEOFFREY for almost a decade. He is currently representing ONE LOVE Productions in KZN. A GEOFFREY has played at all the major gatherings around South Africa like Vortex, Altered States,Connexion,Smoking dragon,Ubuntu Universe,Elysium and Echo. He has also featured at Mozamboogy multiple times.
He describes his style of music as Funky, Driving,twisted Psychedelic Trance and his sets have been booked for day and night slots at festivals everywhere for this reason!

Janux rises from the original Goa scene from the early 1980's, where he was part of the early roots of the Psytrance family. He finally started DJing in 1998, and is signed with Looney Moon Records since 2014. (and previously with Third Eye Records & Mechanik Records) 

Janux ::the name comes from 'Janus', a mythical Roman god who has two faces: one dark, one light - one looking into the past, one looking into the future.

Janux is a night & twilight specialist, and a powerful Dj who can read any situation and play the perfect vibe for that space & time. Janux's style ranges from high energy trippy night music, to magical twilight, to strong & psychedelic morning sounds. His high energy performances packed full with killer mixing, sorcery, and dance power, transform the party into a powerful entity. 

His roots in music started in the mid 80's in Goa where he was a kid experiencing the early roots of the trance scene, and being in Goa every season for most of his life, and has also lived in Denmark, USA, London, Amsterdam, Bombay, and Goa. He has been DJing since 1998, and has played at parties and festivals all over the world including BOOM FESTIVAL 2016, OZORA 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022, MODEM 2016, ANTARIS 2015, 2016, FREE EARTH 2019, HADRA 2014, UNIVERSAL RELIGION 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, TREE OF LIFE, HILLTOP FESTIVAL 2014, 2015, 2021, 2022, JUNGLE CALLING FESTIVAL @ Origens, WAO FESTIVAL 2015, HUMAN EVOLUTION 2015,
His Dj journey has put him behind the decks in NYC (where he started the Dj collective & party org. called “Sound Species”), Portugal, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Italy, Germany, Hungary, France, Oslo, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Nepal, Thailand, Goa (Hilltop, ShivaValley, Dream Beach, Origens, Pinakin, Chronicle, 9 Bar, Curlies, UV Bar, Bamboo Forest, Disco Valley), and many other places in India (Bombay, Bangalore, Delhi, Calcutta, Madras, Pune, Nasik) 

Janux hosted all the big psytrance parties that happen in Bombay, where he was the head of music programming at the legendary Blue Frog, the only club in India that did regular Psy nights with domestic & international artists. (and also various other electronic genres, and live bands across multiple genres as well)

Janux has also opened Goa’s first professional music production & recording studio.

PHASE1 has been into all kinds of electronic music from an early age on. Born in Denmark, he learned to mix at the age of 13, playing at the local youth club. He bought himself a pair of turntables and a mixer later on and continued to develop his skills, first on vinyl and later on CDJ´s. He discovered the psychedelic scene in 2005 and the music touched him like nothing else. Since then his favorite style has been night psy and fullon. PHASE1 got signed to Patronus Records in 2020 and, since then, released three mind blowing compilations.

Ich bin die Djane Mrs.KiTCat, ich komme
aus Wien und Musik war für mich immer schon
ein wichtiger Bestandteil in meinem Leben gewesen.
Ich kann mich gar nicht mehr an den Tag erinnern, an
dem ich ohne Kopfhörer aus dem Haus gegangen war.

Vor genau 3 Jahren lernte ich meinen Freund und damaligen Partner Markus kennen.. der vielen auch unter seinem DJ Namen SpeedWuz (Wuzdoc) bekannt ist.
Schon bei unserem zweiten gemein-
samen Wochenende, begleitete Ich Markus nach
Bratislava, wo er für einen Gig gebucht war.

Vorort dann auf der Party und ohne Vorwar-
nung sagte er: Sodale, DU BIST JETZT DRAN
und die zweite Hälfte meiner Spielzeit ist jetzt
deine und...Das war jetzt das erstemal, dass
ich mich wo öffentlich am Deejaypult so
richtig austoben konnte. Beim zusammen
mixen von 2 Tracks seinen eigenen Sound
zu erschaffen, das Feeling ist einfach geil.

Dadurch Markus jeden Mittwoch im Flex 
die Oh it's a Free Party veranstaltete, gab
er mir ab da auch die Gelegenheit, als
DJane BassTLocca Musik zu machen...
Meine Genre: Techno, Acid, Tekkno & Proggy...
am besten ihr hört einfach mal rein. :)

__PsychoFaces__

PsychoFaces é um DUO de DJ SET, formado por Rodrigo Paião Simplício (22 de Julho de 1993) e Vinicíus Di Carlo Guimarães Giraldi (11 de agosto de 1995), Ambos nascido na cidade de Guarulhos - São Paulo.

A dupla de amigos teve seu primeiro contato com o gênero musical  em  2012, participando de Raves / festivais da cultura PSYTRANCE, apenas por diversão. Agora com o conhecimento musical e cultural obtido na cena, vêm se apresentando através de DJ/SET'S, explorando a vertente PSYCHEDELIC NIGHT (Full On Night), com técnicas de discotecagem, agitando as pistas de uma forma intensa e transcendental.

O nome do projeto foi elaborado a partir de analise das vertentes do gênero, onde cada integrante tinha suas peculiares em termos de Psicodelia que chamava mais atenção. Vinicius; mais conhecido como "Punk", sempre gostou de sons com uma linha mais obscura e continua, e Rodrigo; mais conhecido como "Paião", sempre optou por uma linha mais melódica e dançante.
Resumidamente, o termo "PSYCHOFACES" para nós, seria a união dessas peculiaridades traduzidas em formas de Set's.

E assim foi dado o início do projeto PsychoFaces....
