내 유년은 우울했다
남들이 쉽게 갖는 것조차 난 한 번도 쉽게 가져보지 못했다
일을 한 번도 쉰 적이 없었다
어린 시절의 난 가난을 잘 몰랐다
집이 못산다는 이야기를 초등학생 때 처음 친구에게 들었다
나는 그 말을 듣고도 무슨 말인지 이해하지 못해 웃었던 것 같다

도망치듯이 도착한 곳에 낙원은 없었다
손가락 질 받던 그녀는 모든 걸 포기할지 고민했다
내려놓기 전, 그녀 앞에 서 있던 아이를 위해 결국 젊음을 포기하기로 했다
난 그렇게 생을 갉아먹고 자랐다

19살에 난 유서를 썼다
엄마가 학업을 위해 사준 공책 위로 글을 써 내려 갔다
한 글자씩 천천히 공책 위로 적혀가던 글자들이 부모님의 가슴을 찢었다

다른 사람과 나를 비교하지 말라고 사람들에게 소리쳤다
틀에 가두지 말고, 자유롭게 해달라고 화를 냈다
뒤돌아봤을 땐 나 자신만 있었다
나 혼자 남과 비교하고 있었다
한없이 작아진 내 모습에 목줄을 건 것은 나였다

난 노력 없이 다 얻고 싶었다
남의 노력을 무시하며 나 자신만 잘되길 바랬다
소리치며 남의 성공을 운으로 치부하고 있었다
그렇게 나는 나 자신을 갉아먹고 있었다

모든 걸 포기하려 했다
나는 안 되는 사람이라 생각했다
잘난 것조차 없다 생각했다
남들이 해주는 칭찬이 다 거짓이라 생각했다

내가 음악을 시작한 이유는 뭐였지?
나는 사실 별똥별이 되고 싶었다
우주에서는 그저 먼지 중 하나로 보일지 몰라도, 사람들에게는 나를 보고 소원을 빌고 그들에게 위로가 되어주는 존재가 되고 싶었다
힘든 시기를 보내는 사람에게 내 이야기를 들려주고 공감과 위로가 되어주고 싶었다
다음 걸음을 나갈 수 있게 도와주고 싶었다

나는 음악을 포기하고, 이곳을 떠나려고 하였다
매일 노력해도 바뀌지 않는 내가 싫었다
그렇지만 생각이 바뀌었다
한 명이라도, 노래를 들어주는 네가 있기에
항상 날 기다려주고 응원해 주는 너를 위해
나는 노래를 불러야겠다

What even is art? If not the pain carried forth through other means; the procured subjectivity spilling out like toothpaste; unavoidable of it's own kind. In that spirit, of out of and toward an otherlover. An expression of the tears we all wear to war in the coerced society. The society we live in - or is it as? 

Proponent of egoistic alliance of uniting - universalizing - universal sibling relations species wide, with thereafter enforcement. Such is not the case, nor are we moving toward it. This reflects, quite closely, what I am here presenting. I do to share, to elicit autonomity for you to express, and, in that spirit, I am glad to share my art, for use in excellent art.
