(One more time, I'm going to direct your attention to the Interbay track "January" as deserving of your ears.  For whatever reason, people aren't being directed to check out this particular track, compared to most Interbay tracks...so, it would mean a lot to me if you gave that track a listen before coming back to listen to THIS track.  Thank you.)  

Even though I talk a lot in these track descriptions about how any particular Interbay track could incorporate any particular genre conventions.  Today's latest drop might be the purest example of this...as it might just be the most pure hip hop influenced track that Interbay has produced and sent out into the world, so far.  

I still feel confident using the Electronic main tag--so as not to claim to be part of the culture, and to properly express how the track was made and what instruments were used.  

And then, of course, there's the significant risk placed upon the shoulders of Icarus today, with the posting of this track (which might be the reason for any wrenches tossed into works of this track that might bring the track down for a quick edit--though, for Icarus' sake, I hope not!)  

This is a cheeky little track about relationships, bitterness, re-framing of ideas, the competitive nature of interpersonal connections, and a respect and a strong knowledge of the culture that has evolved to inspire and inform this Interbay track.  

How can there be an answer to the question "Who Got Who?" when each candidate earnestly believes that they're the ones who got and the other person is who got got.  

Please, give this (and the track from a couple of days ago, titled "January") track a good listen (or listen to it a bunch of times--I won't stop you!))  Like it , if you do.  Repost it, share it and add it to your playlist, if you wish.  Leave a comment if you have one...and most of all, please follow this page.  A follow always earns a follow back, plus, you won't get hopelessly behind trying to pay attention to the tracks coming out of Phantom Laboratories West, and they do come out every single day (so far!)...

Fernando Moreno Falla, born on 04/16/1974, known as Nitro.

Nitro began his career in the early 90's with the Old School Hardcore sound being a precursor of this style in Spain.

In 1997, he created the formation, “Game Over” along with Pedro Viñuela. They became the pioneer artists in publishing vinyl records in Andalusia. Later, Nitro founded the formation, “Hiden Face” and published his first album with this alias in 1999 with the label SFX Records.
At the end of 2001, he split off on his own under the alias of DJ Nitro, at which time his popularity exploded which led him into publishing a series of CD’s and Vinyl records by various national and international record labels. 

DJ Nitro began having appearances on Television and radio programs along with creating his own record labels. He then joined the ranks of promotions by booking “Satisfaxion” and “Mundo Evassion”. 

In 2002, he published his first work on CD and cassette format “Dj Nitro in Session” of which sold more than 25,000 copies.
Nitro has two National awards; Best Dj of Breakbeat, National deejaymags (2002, 2003),

National and international performances. 

Additionally, he was asked to perform at the Breakspooll awards in 2006 being the first Spanish Breakbeat dj/producer invited to play at The Fabric in London in that event.

He has made appearances in the biggest Breakbeat festivals and has collaborated with many national and international artists. It is worth mentioning the inclusion of his song "Violence" in a CD of the mythical English label, Finger Linkin along with his publications in London Breakz label of the mythical artists Breakneck of TCR, Audio Bug Records (Uk), Kaleidoscope Music and Yesmate Recordings (USA).

After a big break in his career, in the year 2022 he reappeared with a more current sound, always influenced by Old school, trance, drum & Bass and Funky.

I created this page for the posting of older Breaks DJ mixes. It is not intended to infringe anybody's copyright as an artist or owner of the mixes, just a place to share some of the best and rarest Breakbeat DJ Mixes from yesteryear.
