“Dysphoric Recall” is the sound of a bad decision coming back to haunt you. This song drags you through the wreckage of a relationship built on deception and self-destruction, forcing you to relive every twisted moment of it. It’s dark, bitter, and merciless—just like the kind of love that leaves scars instead of memories.

I Don't Know (Original)

Today's Interbay track is not an RRR interpretation of a previously posted Interbay track from the time when tracks were being posted on Facebook (as today is not Monday.)  

However, it IS a track that dates back to the time when Interbay tracks were being posted to Facebook and not SoundCloud--at least originally.  This is a track that, though an instrumental at the time, I had thought "finished enough" to be waiting for me to make a music video for it so it could be posted to Facebook in early 2024--but it never got that video, so it remained in the Vault.  

I basically gave it the whole "Rethink, Remake, Remix" treatment--but, as this is its debut, it really isn't an RRR.  I added vocals, I rearranged the track, I added some instrumentation--it is very different than the version I thought was "finished."  

This track is definitely an alternative rock/indie rock track with jangly guitars, but there are glitchy synths and even a funky rock part (which has turned into the chorus of the track.)  

The meaning behind the track is all about how we accept so many contradictions in the modern world, the idea of our being our own "modern ancestors" doesn't cause us any cognitive dissonance.  We are digging up, archaeologically, our own era as we live it.  

I definitely get some new wave/post punk/modern rock vibes here--a little bit Athens, a little bit Manchester.  As an old, I definitely relate to this track...and, as I do ALL Interbay SoundCloud drops, I hope you listen to it and like it!

I am a musician, songwriter, producer exploring the sonic fabric of music, and voicing ideas about life, the universe and whatever may steal my attention. I'd like to take you on a journey. 
I think the earliest music I listened to was dad’s Johnny Cash and Frankie Lane records. Eventually I found The Sweet and Deep Purple and then Zeppelin and Sabbath. All of these bands blew my mind. Heavy riffs and in your face vocals seemed to hit the spot. I just had to get a guitar and learn what these cats were doing, and I did. Van Halen and Nugent followed, and then Queen, in particular when I heard Ogre Battle.
The logical next step was to get into a band and play. Mad Shadows was the first regular gigging band I play in formed with a couple of great mates. We had a lot of fun if nothing else.
Keyboards were always a fascination, particularly John Lord’s playing (RIP man), and in the early 80s I got hold of a Roland Juno 6 (still got it too), and opened up to Human League, Heaven 17, Simple Minds and many other great synth bands. I got myself a Teac 3440 4 track recorder at about the same time, and started making SFX circuits to use in Mad Shadows with the Roland. I loved the experimental attitude in the 80s and embraced the cool sounds. Other bands followed where the synth was becoming more central and got some good use. 
With the 90s, there came a shift back to the guitar and live work with The Big Bang, Bent Beyond Belief, Hidden Agenda and other jams with my great friend Stephen (again, RIP brother). The Gunners, Sound Garden and Pearl Jam were reclaiming rock n roll, and my six string trigger fingers were itching. The old 3440 was starting to tire and so I went digital in the mid 90s. 
The 2000s were fruitful. Exploring a range of different textures and rhythms the PC was worked into the ground. An originals band Steel and Stone, and then a Zeppelin covers band followed giving the PC recording a rest. Live jamming is hot. There is nothing like it. 
In about 2007 I returned to recording my originals and produced 3 sets to 2010. In 2011, I played with The Kamikaze Flying Club for a short while where we had some more fun in the live format. Itching to write some more originals, I left to focus on something else entirely and found I had a few more ideas I thought should be articulated and recorded a double set in 2014.
The bulk of the list here is from 2014, however, I will throw in some earlier stuff if I may. I hope you enjoy the sounds. Cheers.

ALL MY MONSTERS ist eine moderne Indie-Rock-Band aus München. Der Sound ist roh, poetisch, funky und vielschichtig – mit deutschen Texten und einem klaren Gespür für Groove, Dynamik und Melodie.

Im Zentrum steht Yeti Teutsch, Sänger und Gitarrist der Band. Als Songwriter hat er eine eigene Bildsprache entwickelt, eingängige Worte mit Hintersinn und Melodie sind sein Markenzeichen.

Allthatbass is the Soundcloud platform of Amsterdam-based producer/songwriter/multi-instumentalist Rik Hansen ( ex La Pat/Via Boetzi/Coparck). At this moment, he is working with various artists on the projects Skoep (together with singer/guitarist/brother Hein), Being Clint (together with multi-instrumentalist/painter zkohp), and What.If.Not (together with singer/guitarist/photographer Maarten van Schaik). Absinthe Green is the brainchild of songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Eirini “Absinthe Green”. Absinthe made a name for herself playing the bass for different acts of the metal scene through the years. She has participated in international projects, such as handling the bass duties for the German band Enemy of the Sun, and Greek dark metal act RandomWalk among others. Furthermore, she has shared the stage with renowned artists in numerous shows and festivals throughout Europe. 

    Absinthe started writing music for this project back in Germany, in 2016. Having a diverse musical background, her songwriting blends a variety of music genres and influences together, into the unique sound of Absinthe Green. 

    After a while, the moment has arrived for her to realise her personal vision in the form of a full band. This coincided with the artist’s move back to Greece in the end of 2019, where Absinthe was joined by former RandomWalk bandmate Harry Mason on drums and later on by Villy Pirris on bass and herself on vocals and guitar. 
The band’s first release is the song “Dead Before My Eyes”, a high-powered enthralling rock anthem, coming from the kick-off full album, “Of Love and Pain”.
