Blending alt-punk, techno, and hip hop, the track explores the 'game' of human existence. The lyrics juxtapose our chaotic concepts of Love, Hate, and War against the alien's preferred state of absolute nothingness. A chaotic, high-energy track about the confusion of being alive. 

This track recounts a close encounter of the philosophical kind. When an alien visitor dismisses our heaviest concepts as meaningless, we're left explaining that being human is just a game we play in a world we made. "Philosophies of an Alien" is a rhythmic critique of fear and greed, delivered with a sneer and a heavy bassline.

Overdriven bass, acid synths, hip hop grooves, and extraterrestrial wisdom.

Myungho Choi was baptized in the early 90s inside the abandoned warehouses of the midwest, experiencing the sounds crafted by the DJs and electronic musicians from Detroit and Chicago. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, Myungho had invaluable access to auteurs such as Juan Atkins, Paul Johnson, Rob Hood and Glenn Underground. Myungho began an output of sounds ranging from downtempo electronic, under the moniker Trout, Spore, and Lewis Overton, to techno and house under the names Elliptical and Myungho Choi.

In the mid 90s, Myungho began performing and releasing tracks on compilations and indie labels, and soon after created an imprint called Transit Records with close friend Shannon Leis. His releases includes two EPs on Transit Records, two EPs with A Touch of Class (Germany), an EP with Odour Recordings from the UK, a release on Krome Boulevard, featured on Mark Farina’s Live in Tokyo mix on the Om label, and a recent EP titled "Jet" on Sakskobing.

Conduit

Formed in 1989 as various other names until we settled on Conduit in the early 1990's. Started jamming in a chicken coop, recorded music on a 4-track reel-to-reel, evolved to digital technology, Cakewalk, Acid Loops, etc... in the 1990-2000's.
