I'm excited to share my remix of "Fredrikstad" by Pen Jakke, a true Norwegian hip hop classic and a tribute to my hometown!

I think it's 25 years since the original dropped, so I thought it was the perfect time to share my high-energy twist. 

This remix blends elements of funky breakbeat, electronic bass music, and hip hop. Short, punchy, and perfect for the club, or just to blast in your car with the windows down, singing along and smiling all the way through.

Rewinding things a bit, DJ Celestial works in nightclubs and lounges promoting local and out of town events as well as embracing Ableton Live as his DAW while building a music studio from scratch.... Including connecting Standalone Music Samplers, Grooveboxes, Powerful Sequencers, Drum Machines and unique sounding Hardware Synths to produce original new electronic dance music including Deep Vocal Progressive House, Melodic Deep House, Dreamy Cosmic House and Melodic Techno! DJ Celestial held onto an extended residency at Bikkuri Lounge for over 7 years and is known for promoting events in Central Florida with a wide variety of music genres including house, breaks, lounge, timeless classic techno and electronic dance music from back in the day. Celestial also worked as Resident DJ on many packed Saturday nights at Vixen Bar for a number of unforgettable years. He aspires to share his uniquely deep progressive house and melodic techno sounds on a national & international level. As well as progressively moving forward on a global scale as an artist appearing at many sophisticated nightclubs and high end ultralounges sharing his signature mixes and infectious sounds and aspires daily to take  new music release tours nationally and  around the world.

F-WORD, a skilled breakbeat artist and known figure in electronic music, was born in USSR. His early musical influences were marked by energetic styles of Hardcore and Jungle. Over time, he turned to the roots of music, focusing on Funk, underground Hip-Hop, and IDM. This transition reflects his commitment to diversity and a deep understanding of musical contexts.

In his school years, F-WORD started crafting his own music, and during this period, he discovered his passion for breakbeat. This genre became his primary channel for expressing individuality and experimentation. Later he became obsessed with the art of DJing, seeing complex mixes as a separate form of art.

Today, F-WORD lives on the beautiful island of Phuket in Thailand. There he organized the iconic series of UK Garage and Bass parties called SUB. F-WORD's goal is to unite people through music and create unique sonic journeys. His tracks and remixes are heard all over the world: at parties, on the radio and in the speakers of electronic music lovers.
