rough, energetic, warm - Fusion Techno Mix by Dasfax

This mix contains as many different techno characters as they can be and yet they complement each other. A DJ set that first and foremost demands its dry straightforwardness, but also leaves enough time to breathe, to experience. 

Different styles and eras, such as the over 25-year-old tracks by Move D and Dman, reflect my long-lasting passion for the techno house genre. 

And the drift between the tracks, refined with reverb, delay or LFO effects from my tractor console, makes room for the psychedelic aspect in the mix. A journey past rough cascades, dry plains and distant planets. 

It also contains an important amount of political poetry. The views of Perel and the Ukrainian artist Mala Herba weave into their tracks what makes techno culture so meaningful today, among other things. And ultimately gave me the opportunity to shape this techno mix into an experiential entity.

Distorted memories continues to evolve with his new EP "Tatkaar Dance". Tatkar dance is footwork, which includes bells and rhythms. The patterns and styles vary greatly and emphasis is placed on producing a sound from the feet as well as from the ghungharoos (bells). Distorted Memory use this tatkaar syllables fuses it with dark bassline combined with gated synths, lush drums to make you all groove.

I made this one for that moment when the rave bends into morning.

I call it a happy dramatic ending. Something soft that chose to grow fangs.

This Podcast had been planned for ages, but Sade Rush only founded it in October 2011, in iTunes. It followed by extensive organizing work. First it came out with own mixes, since it have been coming out 2-times in a month with own and famous dj's mixes too from all over the world, containing fresh techno music, like the Australian DJ HI-Shock, the English Tom Laws, the American Dylan Drazen, and the Hungarian GabeeN and Monocraft's mixes. The aim of this Podcast is to show something new and fresh 2-times in a month, sometimes returning to the roots, reminding us this way for the beauty of Techno music. The Podcast was very successful, and it became accessible on www.technoradio.hu (unfortunately this radio ends) too, near iTunes. In February 2012 The Podcast moved to the Hungarian Techno lover’s site www.techno.hu, next to famous radio shows like Umek's Behind the Iron Curtain, Marco Bailey's Electronic Force, Alex Bau's Wasabi Tunes, Tom Hades' Rhythm Convertered, Dr. Hoffmann's Blind Spot, Chris Liebing's CLR and Mike Humphries' Mastertraxx. At the same month, the past shows became available on Mixcloud too, spreading the love of techno, but the most important thing is the NVT Podcast can give us hope, that it can able to rouse the Hungarian Techno scene.

DJ Istar aka Daniel Bigler has been following the development of electronic dance music since his early teenage years. He was mainly interested in UKGarage,Detroit Techno and ChicagoHouse,but especially in Jungle.In the 90s he began his career under the moniker of DJ Istar with Drum'n'Bass sets at the renowned Wasserwerk club in Bern and was quickly booked for performances all over Switzerland.In addition to his residency in Wasserwerk club,he was regularly spinning at Rohstofflager and PalaisX-tra Zürich and opened for international acts such as DJ Hype or the RaggaTwins (UK). 
He also performed several times at Streetparade and hosted a radio show at DJ Radio Zürich. 

In 2016 DJ Istar founded his first label Starbrainrecords which was planned as an open label for good electronic music today it is a drum&bass label where he released under DJ Inspired. In 2017 DJ Istar founded his main label Sunrising Records which is dedicated to the whole spectrum of House where he releases many Disco House Afro House tracks as DJ Istar. Sunrising Records Underground is the sub label of Sunrising Records dedicated to Hip House and Jackin House. In 2024 DJ Istar also founded his third label E-Troit Records which is a techno label dedicated to Detroit and Fusion Techno and DJ Istar releases under the name Daniel Bigler
