Coming in with a Manic sound mixed with Hard Dark Trap, Syrus delivers hard bars along with his intricate flows and schemes. Growing up with old Hip-Hop and a love for the underground rap scene, Syrus is inspired by the classics and the new style and inputs it into his music. 

Character Backstory: Syrus was born an angel who served God for millennia. One fateful day, Syrus committed the heinous crime of murder in heaven. God saw him unfit to be an angel and cast him out of heaven after ripping his wings out of his body and breaking his halo. Syrus fell to hell, beaten and broken. He was forced to serve Satan for eternity as punishment for his crimes. After a few thousand years Syrus grew tired and resentful to Satan as he tortured undeserving souls while God pampered every evil guest who entered his gates. Syrus left hell to walk earth but as he did his wounds became very real as his divinity began to fail.

As he sulked around the northern part of the world, his body emitted the most pure form of rage and anger, scorching trees and boiling water as he passed. His divine form was cracking and spilling his lifeforce out into the world, he was dying with each drop. Fortunately, before the last drop of divinity fell from his body he came across a dying man in the woods. Syrus soul bonded with the man, keeping them both from perishing. Due to the mortals weaker mind, Syrus assumed control of the body as the man sat shotgun as a voice in his head. It was a match made in heaven...

Originally - Scottish. I have lived in England mostly. I've enjoyed, as a collector/listener, many different types of genres since the 70s. But only recently have started live set DJ mixing.

Origins:-

I have always enjoyed music, throughout my life, just as a listener/appreciater, and not as a DJ or musician. I've enjoyed so many different genres and sub-genres.
When I returned from living in Spain, about a decade ago, I eventually found a night shift job to pay the bills, and free me up to start doing music compilations/mixes during daylight. I'd only, before then, made compilation tapes, then CDs, but never live mixed, until recently.
I thought that making music for a living would eventually be my ideal job, actually making myself money for a change, instead of always working for others, making them money. 
So. I started, with a Creative Commons licence, on Mixcloud then Soundcloud, to do my own live mixes. The objective was to get known worldwide, targeting the largest audience - people without money.
This way, I could market my name/brand to a very large audience. With a personal belief that one if the world's major issues being greed, so I readily made the music free.
I've been focusing solely on the music quality, as a DJ should. I've been teaching myself ethnic percussion drums, and when playing those, I play better when I'm not thinking about what I'm doing, making it all subconscious, like my music journey. 
The way, I think, that this all works, is because I've gained a mass of knowledge, with all the different types and genres throughout my life, and I'm on the precipice of starting to make, and work towards, making my own stuff.
I'm 58 now, and have seen so many types of music, and now realise it's time to follow my dream for a change.
