Serene Despair, the unique concept EP driven my by life-long interest in mythology, especially the dark female entities. Staying true to the lore but told through a different lens, one that is a sonic soundscape and narrative through first and third person lenses. Today mythological entities such as the Gorgon (most famously Medusa) are diluted and misunderstood and represented in modern culture. 

Either the utilisation of their names directly as an adjective in passing, the dilution of such rich and full mythological narratives is a tragedy in my eyes because their historical meaning, narratives and symbolism was deeply embedded and had large impacts in times past that has become lost and not truly represented. This track of Serene Despair, never directly mentions the Gorgon by name. Instead, I have reclaimed and told the narratives being respectful to the lore and modernising it with some of my own unique additions to make it both enjoyable and accessible to casual listeners and further rewarding to those who appreciate mythological lore.

Ik zou VCV laten schieten omdat je TOTAAL niet ervan op aan kan dat ie wel de hele tijd hetzelfde resultaat geeft (heeft denk ik met velocity te maken). Dus wat je doet is je gebruikt SYTRUS en als je het volume omlaag wilt brengen moet je SET gebruiken ipv VOLUME AAN DE ACHTERKANT want je moet zeker weten dat de VELOCITY het TIMBRE niet beinvloedt!!!!
