I wrote this song in honor of my late grandparents, Fred and Jo ann Severe. Like many Grandparents, they were everything to me and more and the only reason I had any semblance of a "normal" childhood. This song speaks to the hardships of life and those heroes among us who show us a better way and live on forever in our hearts.

So what happened was i went to the bathroom and i heard someone come in my bedroom so i hurried up and got out and i saw stvg on my mac book creating a song and i said what the hell are you doing in here and then he saw me and he saved the song and jumped through the window and ran into a bush so ig ill upload this, then i yelled through the window howd u do this with fl i thought u used ableton and he said jub jub so 🤷

I made most of these while living with my Grandma at her house shortly after my Grandaddy went backstage. It was just us in a gigantic, ranch-style house. It was cozy because they'd lived there so long, but there was a lot of space. I got to play a grand piano everyday and be basically be as loud as I wanted (when my grandma wasn't there). A year ago I moved out, she met a dude and is living her best life. I love that place and I'm grateful I got so spend so much time with my Grandma.
