Le pouvoir est un élément essentiel de nos sociétés et de nos vies. Dans son ouvrage "Les 48 lois du pouvoir", Robert Greene synthétise 3 000 ans d'histoire en 48 principes afin de nous aider à comprendre comment acquérir le pouvoir avec habileté et éviter d'être manipulé ou écrasé par autrui.

Personne n'apprécie l'impuissance, mais nous réprouvons les individus avides de pouvoir en raison de nos idéologies modernes de justice et d'équité, entre autres. Il est important de comprendre que le pouvoir est amorale, il n'est ni bon ni mauvais. Une fois que vous le possédez, vous pouvez choisir comment l'utiliser, mais il serait insensé de considérer le pouvoir comme néfaste ou insignifiant. En réalité, nous avons beaucoup à apprendre des intrigues raffinées des cours aristocratiques du passé : ceux qui savent charmer, tromper et manipuler subtilement, sans que les autres ne s'en rendent compte, peuvent accéder au pouvoir sans susciter rancœur ou résistance.

Greene nous encourage à envisager les pratiques du pouvoir comme un jeu. Vous pouvez utiliser ce livre pour vous familiariser avec le pouvoir en général, ou l'étudier et y réfléchir en profondeur afin de véritablement comprendre les gens et le monde dans lequel vous évoluez.

- Ne jugez pas les gens d'après leurs intentions déclarées, mais d'après les résultats réels de leurs actions. Ceux qui prétendent rejeter le pouvoir au nom de valeurs morales sont souvent de véritables manipulateurs (ou tout simplement naïfs).

- Pour maîtriser le jeu du pouvoir, vous devez fondamentalement changer de perspective, apprendre de nouvelles compétences et les mettre en pratique, notamment la capacité à maîtriser vos émotions (afin qu'elles ne brouillent pas votre jugement), à examiner objectivement le passé et l'avenir (pour apprendre et identifier les problèmes) et à accepter la tromperie et la mascarade comme faisant partie des interactions humaines (et non comme quelque chose d'immoral ou de mauvais).

Je recommande vivement cet audiobook à tous ceux qui s'intéressent à la puissance et à l'influence. Il est très bien écrit, facile à lire et à comprendre.

I started this mix in May 2022, in a slaphouse style, after hearing Mike Candy's class mix of Move on Baby by Cappella. Finally finished it off after getting a very clean vocal from acapellasuk.uk (THANKS DAN!). The sweet spot for me is the M1 piano part at the 2nd break :) Hope you enjoy!

Bought my first Kam belt drive record decks in 1998, and started DJ-ing shortly around Cork City and County as well as getting a slot on local stations Kiss FM, NRG FM, Klub FM and a few shows on the legendary Radio Friendly. Genres at the time- trance, house and hard-house. Also started using Acid Pro to make my own edits and mashups.

Having been retired from the DJ-ing game since 2006, Ableton Live filled the void as I started to learn to produce tracks.

Now...
In 2019, I picked up my first midi controller, a Pioneer SB3 with Serato Pro and started putting new set mixes on mixcloud.

Currently, I'm putting out bootlegs and mashups using Ableton as a kind of learning curve to making original tracks.

Short term goal - 2k+ followers. DONE!
Long term goal - get something signed! DONE!
New goals incoming, roll on 2023!
