Empires

A hard scene from a funny film, the original Pirates of the Caribbean, this one has the ghosts of pirates haunting the beat with the melody – the bass smooth like silky wave tops. Big up the violinist vandals wrecking those strings on a daily.

Pirate's Reward

Digging deep into the archive and sampling everything from King Gary to Knight’s Tale and Pirates of the Caribbean to name but a few, all coming together for six tracks of banging medieval and pirate-era beats straight from the longhouse, a dark night and a fire. Asking what no one else has before, and probably for good reason – I can’t help but think 140 was discovered long before electronic music. I hope someone likes these tunes, it’s fun putting them out.

Parlay

A story of a fake knight in way above his head, A Knight’s Tale is one of those classic films from a childhood of the 90s. This is one of the best scenes that I still remember and layered over a tune that’s hard as a steel breastplate, this one would get the squires skanking.

Seeker of Serenity

Sampling an old cartoon, this deep and moody boomer had the heads and shoulders bopping in the 1ft studio. Not sure if anyone actually reads these, so shout out to the tremolo massive. Who knows why, but I keep getting let loose on a keyboard and bits like the second half are what happens.

Knights of Justice

A royal fanfare of rudeness with the roadman that is King Gary, just don’t bring the technics to the party. Holla at the cul-de-sac crew, I sees you.
