This is a special election edition of my GRWM (Get Ready with Me) series to help you SHIFT into the polls. We are 22-days out from the big day, but I felt the need to motivate and tap some of you on the shoulder. 

This week, I am coming out officially–as a Democrat, and I feel that it is important to boost the message on any platform that I might have. It might surprise you to learn that I am unabashedly a staunch supporter of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. It is time for us to lift them up and to drop the “Vice” from her name and get ready to call her “Madam President.“ This is your bop to power up, go to her site and information and learn about them and to get to the polls and pull that ever-so-important lever. Your. Vote. Does. COUNT.

Please remember, you are not voting for a woman nor for a person of color—this election cycle, we are voting for democracy! There was once a time that women could not vote, people my complexion were not only a part of a person, but not too long ago were not allowed the right to vote. We are Americans, and we have made errors in the past; it is important not to make a personal error by sitting out your right to vote. Whether your family has always had the right, or only achieved it in the past couple of centuries, it is essentially your duty to stand up and vote.

I am a seasoned DJ with a remarkable 15-year career so far. I have honed in my craft through countless gigs across diverse cities.
