Rasmus Aamot Bakke got his house party baptism attending the biggest rave in Norway's history, on the Nebb site in Oslo in '91.
16 years old and immediately understood that this was his type of music and culture.
Two years later, he bought his first record players to start mixing, and has done so ever since
Today he plays with the DJs from the party that saved him, and is a resident DJ on Safari.
Rasmus has been seen and heard in recent years on concepts such as Safari, Footworks, Elephant, Hvitsten Jam, Double Rainbow (Dk) among others.
Under the artist name RAA, he likes to experiment with sounds and styles and always tries to put his own stamp on his sets and test the limits of what works.
For the most part, it goes in techno, house, deep-house, electro, tribal, progressive, but a lot of sampling are also mixed in and characterize the sets.
There is always an element of mystery in the music he plays and the styles can vary a lot from set to set, but a strong signature on the music makes it recognizable to those who have
heard RAA before.
