The continent of Asia has been heavily influenced by the UK sound over the years. Whether it be 'sinogrime' in China (a style of grime that incorporates East Asian motifs that was first noticed in China in 2009), jungle sounds coming out of Seoul Community Radio in South Korea, Drum & Bass in Hong Kong or Bass artists like Kessler & Amy Dabbs recently touring Japan; it's clear that there is a hunger for the bass-driven sound, with Asian artist putting their own spin on the originally UK aesthetic. The Slithered EP, arriving in 2025, the year of the snake (a time of wisdom, transformation and personal growth) seems very apt given that it is the first Garage VA made up entirely of artists from Zhōngguó.

The outfit was awarded BeatPortal's 'Label Of The Month' in August 2023 and has been one of the most prolific labels of the re-formed UKG scene, releasing music styled by the likes of Interplanetary Criminal, Conducta, Salute and Sammy Virgi to the masses. They have a reputation from breaking new artists onto the scene, releasing important works from leading tastemakers such a Oppidan, and have recently been working with fifteen year old Garage producer Ashdunn, who they have helped bring into the studio with Garage legend Daniel Bedingfield, receive support by Jaguar on BBC Radio 1 and in 2024 he put out his very first music video alongside FooR and legendary MC Scrufizzer.
