Axis Anima is a puzzle platforming game where four ghosts(each representing a directional input) possess a skeleton to wander across a ruined castle. This track is the music that plays when actually playing the game.

I tried my worst at making something that vaguely sounds like a harpsichord using a piano, strings and a guitar, since Garageband doesn't have one available (at least, not for free). Needed that for the "haunted castle" vibes, by very, very poorly imitating the most stereotypical classical music possible. At least it manages to give it both a mischievous/campy atmosphere as well as a haunted one, although those really could afford to be combined better.

Having run out of time, I'd recycled a section of a Crystalanthemums cover (Homestuck track) I have. With the addition of a vocal synth track, it kind of gives a vibe not entirely dissimilar to Stickerbush Symphony...

I kinda was really displeased with it for a good while, but with some improved mixing, it turned out... semi-decent.

Axis Anima is a puzzle platforming game where four ghosts(each representing a directional input) possess a skeleton to wander across a ruined castle. This track is the music that plays in the main menu and was also used in the atrocious excuse of a "trailer" I made for this game.

First video game track I've ever been required to do, up till now music had been this thing I do as I please (which means I didn't really develop any real skill), but all of a sudden, we were a week away from the deadline and we had no music because I had focused heavily on the game design, level design and sound design up to that point. 

This track was made in about 5 days and served as the blueprint for the only other track in the game. It's actually really crazy to me that I managed to blitz through "4 Ghosts in a Skeleton" in two days, it has way more layers. I guess i just locked in due to the pressure.
