Glen Campbell recorded this song, often touted as the best country ballad of all time in 1968 when I was a high school freshman. Little did I know that 20 years later Glen would become my publisher and that I would get to record with an All Star background choir in Nashville in 1990.  Now and then inspiration and magic strikes like lightening. This is my tribute to Glen, who among several other Nashville legends mentored me and influenced everything I have done since as a songwriter, producer, artist, and recording professional.
