demonstrating DCA envelope can have either multiple sustain points or a non-zero level for end step/stage. need to find out what is going on here, also causes the display step counter to corrupt/overflow/alias making it appear as if there are hundreds of steps

this is musically useful for creating either dronescapes or for compensating for the lack of a "sustain/hold" footswitch in the CZ-101. might be useful to do a version of this patch that only uses one oscilator so 8 notes can be overlaid before oldest note gets cut out. alternatively you could use the same patch in a cz-5000 that has more polyphony. 

performed / improvised live although after 9mins 33secs two unrelated improvised parts are layered over each other in editing.

going in playlist either after little box of colours in 2nd half of set or in place of / prior to the chordbot track in first half of set. idea is to have the 4 long tracks evenly distributed throughout the 6 hour playlist. so one long track every 1 hour and 15mins. (ironically that is length of a CD so a 4 CD album with one long song each 80 mins. But i still need to find/write another long track. That might be job for the fz-10m or just finish off the composition I was working on for beautiful machines...that is more important actually. I can of course send the midi to the FZ when it is written although originally was composed on  the CZ.

early magazine reviews complained that the output of sampler is low, which is true, but this is because headroom is required for the filters which are too hot for the output when layered like this. 8 resonant peaks at once is a bit much so need to adjust gain staging if you are using casio fz for either sampling or synthesis.

once midi global is set to area, it will dynamically assign / steal notes across the multiple channels so with each channel/patch you can trigger same sound at different pitches  or with different velocity/filter cut off...on the same channel so many complex modulations can be sequenced.

I don't know why anyone would want velocity mapped to detune amount / ring modulation depth  but I guess that is why it didn't sell very well.  Might have been better without the auto-accompaniment and instead just select a different waveform for each velocity line.

JRC NJM 2090d 4 pole VCF filter chip (x8) same filter employed in the earlier Casiotone MT-400V / CT-410V and the HT-700, HZ-600, HT-3000, HT-3500. But the HT-6000 is unique in that there is one filter per note. Although, I think as usual with a Casiotone, if you use accompaniment, half the filters (4 notes) are reserved for accompaniment voices.
